Vice Reveals Extra Footage from Its “Joshi Kosei Osanpo Date” Documentary

Earlier this week, Vice released a controversial documentary chronicling the phenomenon of “joshi kosei osanpo dates”,  a practice in which older men pick up underage schoolgirls off the street for paid dates. They linked this to the dark side of Japan’s obsession with schoolgirls and cute culture. They also showed certain cafes and an idol concert / handshake event as elements of this phenomenon. Yesterday, Vice released extra footage from their documentary. This footage shows more of the group featured in the clip, Akishibu Project. There’s also an interview with member Natsumi Sukawa. Check it out after the jump!
