Frederic to Release New Single “Kanashii Ureshii”

On August 16, Frederic will release their new single, “Kanashii Ureshii.” The song serves as the opening theme for the TOKYO MX anime series “Koi to Uso.” The song’s lyrics deal with the dueling emotions of sadness and happiness, in reference to the song’s title (kanashi = sad / ureshii = happy).

“Kanashii Ureshii” will be released in a CD+DVD limited edition and a CD only regular edition. In addition to the A-side and two B-sides, each version will feature live tracks from one of Frederic’s concerts at Tokyo’s Shinkiba STUDIO COAST. The DVD that comes with the single’s limited edition will also feature video footage from this show.
