Kaela Kimura has announced that she is set to release her 21st single. The single is titled “TODAY IS A NEW DAY.” It will be released on October 22. “TODAY IS A NEW DAY” is described as a speedy rock song. Frequent collaborator Shinobu Watanabe of the band ASPARAGUS composed the song. A live clip of the new single has also been released on Kaela’s official YouTube channel. The clip is from a performance of the song which was shot at “TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2014 AUTUMN / WINTER” at Saitama Super Arena on September 6. It was  The limited edition of the single has a DVD of live footage and back stage scenes from Kaela’s recent performances at this past summer’s various rock festivals.
