Make up giant NARS will be releasing their first limited collection exclusive to Japan! Titled “NARS ZEN COLLECTION” they have selected top actor Ryusei Yokohama as the spokesperson.
NARS is known for it’s sleek clear and black packaging, but with this limited collected it will be housed in white packaging. It includes lipstick and makeup suited for Japanese people, and will see a nationwide release beginning on July 8th, 2020.
Yokohama commented that he’s honored to have been selected to promote NARS’s very Japan-only collection. He thought his eye make up and colored lips made him look a little “mysterious”! Currently, one of Yokohama’s favorite colors is purple so he was glad to see it included in the collection.
He also commented that it’s becoming more common for men to wear makeup, so he would like as many people as possible to use this collection, no matter what their gender is.
