Kenshi Yonezu spins listeners a yarn in his Music Video for “Flamingo”

Last month we reported that singer/songwriter Kenshi Yonezu would be releasing a new Double A-side single titled “Flamingo / TEENAGE RIOT” on October 31st.  Following a public reveal in Shibuya’s Station Square, he has now chosen to publish the music video for “Flamingo” to his YouTube channel.

This PV centers around Yonezu’s stumbling through an underground parking garage, matching the song’s feverish atmosphere with his movements.  The track itself mixes its more overtly electronic influences with an enka-based bridge, resulting in a song that feels simultaneously old yet new.

You’ll find the music video for “Flamingo,” as well as brief preview of “TEENAGE RIOT,” right after the cut.
