More than a year after being announced, “City Hunter” French live adaptation trailer got released!

Entitled “Nicky Larson et le Parfum de Cupidon” (Nicky Larson and Cupidon’s Perfume) [NA : “Nicky Larson” is the name of Ryo Saeba in the french version of the anime], the movie is directed & played by french comedian Philippe Lacheau and scheduled for February 6th.

Singer Koda Kumi recently attended a special screening event for one of the seasons hottest films A Star Is Born. Joining her as one of the other MCs for the event is trans make-up artist and talent IKKO.

The film had it’s Japanese premiere back on December 21st, and Japan’s SNS was filled to the brim with hashtags relating to one of the main stars Lady Gaga and how emotional the film is. “You will cry! A handkerchief is essential!“

Rapper CHANMINA will be releasing a brand new single called “I’m a Pop” next month!

The song will show off CHANMINA’s bilingual skills, as it will be sung in Japanese, English, and Korean! This will be CHANMINA’s first physical release since 2017, so it will be filled with a lot of goodies.

Johnny’s group Kis-My-Ft2 have released a preview MV for their upcoming single “Kimi wo Daisuki da“

This is their 23rd single overall, and will serve as the official theme song for the film “Tora-san” starring Kis-My-Ft2 member Hiromitsu Kitayama, which is his debut film role!

AAA member Takahiro Nishijima, otherwise known as Nissy, has announced the release of his very first best album.

The album is also being released in celebration of his 5th anniversary since making his debut at a solo artist. Titled “Nissy Entertainment 5th Anniversary BEST” the deluxe 2CD+6blu-ray version of the album boasts over 500 minutes worth of content.

In the CM Matsumoto behind a panel made out of Meiji chocolate bars. One after the other a panel switches out to reveal Matsumoto, but he’s interrupted by an “alien” called John. Perhaps he is the Caucasian version of Matsumoto? Check it out below.

At a recent press event actress Nana Katase talked about her recent New Years festivities, and an alleged “Double Date” she went on.

SoftBank has brought together an all star lineup for a brand new CM series. The company has become quite renowned for their clever advertising throughout the years, with the most famous being “Otosan” the white dog and member of the “SoftBank family”.

The new CM series is called “Giga narrative”, set in the fictional “Giga Country”. Set in a dystopian world V6 member Junichi Okada is the leader of the group.

By his side is the “big sister” of the group actress Tao Tsuchiya, along with Nogizaka46 ace Mai Shiraishi and DISH// member Takumi Kitamura. The group is rounded out by a robot companion, who actually turns out to be a familiar character!
