It has not been announced officially, but it was revealed through FC message cards sealed in a red envelope that V6 Okada Junichi is getting married. The cards were sent to fan club members supposed to be delivered on the 24th. It seems that some of the letters were sent earlier to FC members on the 22nd and the news erupted on the internet. The letter did not mention the name of his partner and date but news are already reporting it to be Miyazaki Aoi. Marriage registration is expected to be submitted and announced on the 24th.
Okada is the third V6 member to be married, after Inohara Yoshihiko and Nagano Hiroshi. Okada and Miyazaki became friends after working together in the movie “Kagehinatani Saku” in 2008 as couple. Miyazaki was married to actor Takaoka Kosuke but got divorced after 4 years. In 2012, both played as a couple again in the movie “Tenchi Meisatsu”.
In August 2015, the two were reported to be dating by a weekly magazine. In December last year, the two were seen visiting Ise Shrine in Mie Prefecture. It was reported that they started living together in spring 2016 and in August this year, Okada was building a Y500 million mansion in Setagaya Ward in Tokyo and was seen as a sign of getting ready for marriage. The house is due for completion next summer.
