Popular rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN announced today that they will be releasing a brand new full-length album on July 10th. This as-yet-untitled record comes nearly three-and-a-half years after the release of the group’s previous album “Butterflies” and will be the group’s ninth studio set together.

Though details about the album are scarce as of yet, the band have confirmed that it will include a number of their digital releases dating back to “Aria” as well as some new songs. The record will be issued in three different versions, with the Limited Editions A & B to include a DVD or Blu-ray – respectively – which contains both footage from the group’s live set at COUNTDOWN JAPAN 18/19 and a music video collection for this era.

Well in advance of the album’s release, they have also chosen to release their latest song “Aurora” as a digital single and publish a music video for the track to their YouTube channel. This PV, which was directed by DRAWING AND MANUAL’s Kyoutaro Hayashi, is based around the idea of “a heart which will not break in the face of adversity” and focuses on an individual – played by actress Miku Uehara – confronting just such a hopeless situation.

Back in January we reported that singer/songwriter Keishi Tanaka would be releasing a new full-length album in May. Now he has confirmed that this longplay – titled “BREATH” – will be released on May 8th.

“BREATH” will include Tanaka’s previously released tracks “This Feelin’ Only Knows”, “Shiranai Machi no Daiseidou”, and “Break It Down”, as well as seven new songs for a total of ten. Ahead of the album’s release, he has chosen to both release title track “Breath” as a digital single and upload its music video to his YouTube channel.

Singer/songwriter Yuji Nakada has announced that he will be releasing a new studio album titled “Sanctuary” on May 15th. “Sanctuary” comes just over a year after the release of Nakada’s previous record “NOBODY KNOWS” and will include an as-yet unconfirmed number of new songs.

In conjunction with this announcement, he has also released new song “Runner” as a digital single. This acoustic funk track was inspired by the runners in this year’s Tokyo Marathon and attempts to condense Nakada’s unique songwriting style down to an easily digestible two minutes and twenty-seven seconds. A music video for the song has also been uploaded to his label’s YouTube channel.

“Judgement“, previously known as “Project Judge” is an action-adventure PS4 game developed by Sega. The game is a spin-off of the extremely popular “Yakuza” game series also developed by Sega.

Actor Takuya Kimura is the main “star” of the game, the protagonist Takayuki Yagami is modeled after him, and he also serves as the characters voice actor. Just like in “Yakuza” the game features a plethora of celebrity guests voicing/starring as various characters in the game. One celebrity in particular, has put the status of the game into limbo.

On March 13, ANARCHY will release his new album, “The KING.” The album features collaborations with AKLO, T-Pablow, IO, Awich, and more. It also features production by the likes of BACHLOGIC, AVA1ANCHE, Chaki Zulu, and DJ PMX.

The album is only being released in one physical edition, one that costs 13,000 yen. The album is housed in a gold sleeve that resembles a frame, with the album cover showcased in the frame. This edition of “The KING” contains a CD, a booklet, and a gold card with a serial number on it. For those who don’t want to pay 13,000 yen for ANARCHY’s new album, it will be available for download and streaming as well.

This will be their second single overall, the group made their official debut last year in December with “OVER DRIVE“. “Flying Fish” has been described as “breath of fresh air” that blows away your troubles and conflicts within the heart.

Legend Maki Goto was recently the target of a tabloid, who alleged that she was having an affair with another man! According to the tabloid Maki had been in frequent contact with the man since the beginning of 2018, and even met up with him a couple times at a hotel. Perhaps to play Monster Hunter?
