Naoto Inti Raymi’s jacket cover for his upcoming 15th single ” Itsuka Kitto” features actor Nakagawa Taishi and actress Hirose Suzu. For the regular edition, a photo of the singer is used. The single will be released on April 8.

The song is currently used as the CM song for Shiseido “SEA BREEZE” which also stars Nakagawa and Hirose. A 1 minute teaser video of the CM featuring “Itsuka Kitto” was released. Check it out below.

As previously reported, Kiritani Mirei, Yamazaki Kento and Sakaguchi Kentaro will star in the live-action film adaptation of Koda Momoko’s “Heroine Shikkaku” (No Longer the Heroine). The romantic comedy center around Matsuzaki Hatori (Kiritani), a high school girl who firmly believes that she has to marry her childhood friend someday.

The first visual images and teasers for the movie have been released, and the lead stars dressed up in Seifuku (school uniform). 25 year old Kiritani said she feels both happy and embarassed to wear a high school uniform in her age.

Additional cast members have also been announced – Fukada Ayano, Wagatsuma Miwako, Maryjun Takahashi, Hamada Mari, and Takeuchi Riki. The movie will open in summer. Check out the images and teaser below.

On 12th, the final selection event was held to choose the Japanese representative for the Miss Universe Pageant. Out of 44 contestants, Miyamoto Eriana (20) from Nagasaki was chosen. “I thought ‘I wonder if a hafu like me would be okay’ and had insecurities,” Miyamoto said, expressing her thoughts on the matter. “I think the world pageant will be a bit more vigorous, but I want to be myself and try my best.”

Kore-eda Hirokazu’s latest directorial work “Umimachi Diary” has released its trailer. The movie follows 3 sisters – 29-year-old Kouda Sachi (Ayase Haruka), 22-year-old Kouda Yoshino (Nagasawa Masami) and 19-year-old Kouda Chika (Kaho) and their step-sister Asano Suzu (Hirose Suzu).

As previously reported, the three sisters learn that their father, who abandoned them when they were young, has died. The oldest sister (Ayase) refuses to go to his funeral, because she is the only one able to remember him and cannot forgive him, but she sends her two younger sisters to his funeral. There, the two sisters meet their younger sister (Hirosue) and, eventually, they all begin to live together.

Morning Musume.’15 will be singing the theme song to the upcoming new PreCure All Stars film, “PreCure All Stars: Haru no Carnival (Spring Carnival)”. The theme song is titled “Ima Koko Kara” (Right Here, Right Now) and will be included in the group’s triple A-side single “Seishun Kozou ga Naiteiru/Yugure wa Ameagari/Ima Koko Kara” to be released on April 15. This is also their first single without member Michishige Sayumi, who graduated from the group last year.

We previously reported that veteran pop-rock band Mr.Children were preparing to release their latest studio album “REFLECTION” on June 4th of this year.  Now the group have chosen to release all of the details surrounding this new album to the public, and there are definitely a few surprises to be found.

The band have revealed that there will be two distinctly different release skews for “REFLECTION” that are set to include a range of different materials:  “REFLECTION {Drip}” and “REFLECTION {Naked}”.  “REFLECTION {Drip}” is a 14 track album that will be released in a Regular and Limited edition, the latter of which will include an hour-long Documentary DVD chronicling the release’s recording process.

“REFLECTION {Naked}” is the complete package, which will consist of a 23 track album on a USB stick (it includes the 14 tracks on {Drip} plus 9 additional songs), the Limited Edition version of “REFLECTION {Drip}”, an 80 page photobook, a 48 page booklet of original liner notes, all of which will be packaged in a box upon which there is a QR code that can be used to access the Demo versions of songs present on the album.

flumpool will be releasing a a new CD titled “FOUR ROOMS”,  a concept disc containing four songs. It was made with the concept “The 4 songs will be flumpool’s heart, in other words, engine, from now on.” Titled “FOUR ROOMS”, it represents the “4 rooms” that will make up the heart. It will be released on May 13.

The CD consists of three acoustic songs and the song “Daisuki datta”, currently used as theme song to Fuji TV’s Mezamashi TV. Those who purchased the CD will receive a “Four Rooms Key Card”, tied to “flumpool MANATSU NO YAGAI LIVE 2015 “FOR ROOTS” ~OSAKA FIELDS FEVER~” on August 8 and 9. Card bearers will be able to participate in the special events.

A special movie for “Daisuki datta” was released, which also features vocalist Yamamura Ryuta’s speech at flumpool’s surprise performance at a Coming of Age event in Osaka. Check out the video below.

The winner of The 7th CD Shop Awards 2015 was recently announced and the winner is BABYMETAL for their self-titled album. The album was chosen from 10 final nominees that were selected by record store staff from across Japan. The Best Artist Award went to Gesu no Kiwami Otome. for their releases “Miryoku ga Sugoi yo” and “Minna Normal.” Pharrell Williams was awarded the World Award for his album “GIRL.” Check out the winners in the other categories after the jump!
