Seiko Matsuda is currently mourning the unexpected death of her daughter, Sayaka Kanda. It is the Christmas season, and one of the highlights of the year for her fans are her annual Christmas dinner shows, which in light of her daughter’s death, were canceled.
That being said, it should come as no surprise that Seiko has also chosen not to appear at this year’s “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.”
It should be noted that when the show’s song list was revealed a few days, Seiko didn’t have a song attached to her name.
