On July 17, TBS will air this year’s edition of its annual mid-year music special, “Ongaku no Hi.” The show will begin at 2 PM that day and end at 9:54 PM that night. Nakai Masahiro and TBS announcer Azumi Shinichiro will host the show for the 11th consecutive year.
The theme of this year’s show is “Wa!”, and with it the show hopes to energize Japan and make everyone smile.
The first set of performers for “Ongaku no Hi 2021” has been announced! The list includes the likes of Tokyo Jihen, LiSA, and King & Prince, along with another dozen groups from Johnny & Associates. In total, 33 acts are part of the first set of performers. Check out the full list below!
