On July 18, TBS will air this year’s edition of its annual mid-year music special, “Ongaku no Hi.” The show will begin at 2 PM that day and end at 11:18 PM that night. Nakai Masahiro and TBS announcer Azumi Shinichiro will host the show for the tenth consecutive year.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the theme of this year’s show is “Nippon no Genki! (Japan’s energy!)” Through the power of music, “Ongaku no Hi 2020” will energize Japan during the pandemic.
