Talent Ryucheru is making his comeback to the music scene with a brand new MV and digital single, which just so happens to be named after his baby son LINK!

Ryucheru’s wife Peco gave birth to a healthy baby boy back in July. After the news broke about the couples pregnancy, they shared that they would love to name their baby “Link” if it was a boy and “Mona” if it was a girl.

Staying true to their promise Ryucheru’s latest foray into the music industry is a tribute to his newborn. For this release Ryucheru collaborated with composer Kenichi Maeyamada who produced the song and also helped with co-writing. 

AKB48 has released the MV for their highly anticipated single “Sentimental Train“.

Clocking in at 10 minutes long the MV is almost like a short episode for a drama series. It begins with a disclaimer, addressing the absence of Jurina Matsui due to her poor physical health. The text reads as follows:

Utada Hikaru‘s successful Hatsukoi will be getting the vinyl treatment this November, in very limited numbered quantities. The bestseller, which spent 7 weeks in the Oricon Top 10 marks her first album to get a wax pressing since 2002’s DEEP RIVER. It will be a heavy 2LP pressing with a booklet, and each of jacket has a unique serial number included. The vinyl comes out the day after her national tour starts, November 7 (limited quantities available the day before on tour). Read on below for a bit more info:

Namie Amuro seems intent on going out with a bang, the singer will be retiring on September 16th, 2018 and is currently in the final stages of her promotional activities.

Over the summer Amuro completed her final concert tour, titled “Namie Amuro Final Tour ~Finally~” in support of her 25th anniversary and best album also titled “Finally”.  Details including covers for the DVD and blu-ray can be seen here.

Talent Akemi Darenogare has dreams of making it big overseas, she will apparently be heading to The United States for a short-term study period with the ultimate goal of becoming a Hollywood actress.

Darenogare took to her official social media accounts to make the announcement, and received immense support from her fanbase. Beginning in January she will start her studies, currently she’s already taking part in English conversational classes.

On August 22, MISIA will release her new single, “Ai no Katachi.” It’s a collabration with GReeeeN, marking the first time that the two acts have worked together. GReeeeN is in charge of the song’s lyrics and compostion, with member HIDE singing on the chorus. “Ai no Katachi” is another first in terms of arrangement, marking the first time that Kameda Seiji has arranged a song for MISIA.

“Ai no Katachi” is a heartfelt love song, depicting the growing relationship between a stepmother and a stepdaughter, mirroring the TBS drama “Gibo to Musume no Blues”, for which “Ai no Katachi” is the theme song.

MISIA has now released the music video for “Ai no Katachi.” MISIA is surrounded by a world of cut out figures in the clip. Check it out below, along with more information on her new single!

On August 22, KREVA will have a new release titled “Sonzaikan.” The CD revolves around the concept of “sonzaikan”, meaning “being present.” The music video for the title track features KREVA living in a fantasy world. The video can be seen below, along with more information on this release!

In further news, on August 31, KREVA will release his collaborative digital single with ayaka, “Glory.” The song has only been performed once before, at the 2017 edition of KREVA’s “908 FESTIVAL.” The song was met with a great response by the audience, leading the duo to release the song digitally on the same day as 908 FESTIVAL 2018.
