Talent Akemi Darenogare recently appeared at an event promoting winter gear. The topic of discussion quickly took a focus on her personal life, namely her potential future romances.
Darenogare claimed that she recently was introduced to a fortune teller who made some shocking revilations.
Johnny & Associates announced that Sexy Zone member Matsushima Sou will be suspending his entertainment activities to focus on the treatment of panic disorder.
Matsushima made his comment on November 27, same day as his birthday. In a handwritten letter, Matsushima explained that he felt sick since a year ago. His condition got worse over the past month and consulted a doctor and was diagnosed with idiopathic panic disorder. He expressed his shock at the diagnosis and announced his temporary hiatus to focus on treatment. He decided that it is most important to overcome his illness now. He apologized for the inconvenience caused and thanked everyone for the support.
After the announcement, Sexy Zone appeared at NTV’s Best Artist program with 4 members where the situation of Matsushima was explained. Just last month, King & Prince member Iwahashi Genki announced his hiatus to focus on the treatment of the same illness.

Nine months after the release of their previous album “cocoon,” alternative rockers androp have revealed that they will be ending the year with another album release on December 19th. Titled “daily,” this concise record will include their drama theme song “Hikari,” as well as five new songs for a total of six.
In advance of its release date, the short music video for the album’s closer “Home” has been uploaded to Universal Music Japan’s YouTube channel, with the track to be released as a digital single on December 7th. Furthermore, the group have also announced that another new track, titled “Koi,” has already been selected as the theme song for upcoming film “Kugatsu no Koi to Deau Made,” which will hit theaters on March 1st of next year. No details about the song’s release have been confirmed at this point.

Last month we reported that rock band LAMP IN TERREN will be releasing their latest studio album “The Naked Blues” on December 5th. Now that this date has drawn closer, they have published the music video for its lead track “BABY STEP” to their label’s YouTube channel.
The PV was directed by Junya Handa, who also directed the group’s video for “innocence,” and is meant to be a physical representation of the song’s message. Additionally, a digest featuring previews of the record’s remaining songs has also been uploaded to YouTube.

“Johnny’s Countdown 2018-2019” to be held at the Tokyo Dome will be broadcasted live by FUJI TV on December 31 (11:45pm start) and the list of participating artists have been announced.
TOKIO’s Kokubun Taichi and V6’s Inohara Yoshihiko will serve as MC for the 2nd consecutive year. Arashi will perform a 20th anniversary medley and Kanjani8 will perform a 15th anniversary medley. “Johnnys Shuffle Medley for One Night” and “Group Shuffle Medley” will also be performed.
NEWS will connect via live relay from their own countdown at Kyocera Dome. King & Prince will also be debuting this year at Johnnys annual Countdown event.
Following up on a rather quiet 2018, blues rock trio GRAPEVINE have announced that they will be releasing a new album titled “ALL THE LIGHT” on February 6th of next year. Their 16th studio set, “ALL THE LIGHT” was produced by Hoppy Kamiyama and will include ten brand tracks that incorporate a number of different sounds and styles.
Well ahead of the album’s release date, the trio have chosen to release one of the songs, “Alright,” as a digital single and publish its music video to their YouTube Channel. This PV marks the first time that one of GRAPEVINE’s videos has been filmed overseas, featuring frontman Kazumasa Tanaka wandering through the streets of Hong Kong.
While much of the information about “ALL THE LIGHT” has yet to be revealed, you’ll find the music video for “Alright” right after the cut.
Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Koresuke Arishima, better known by the moniker arko lemming, will be releasing his third full-length album this week on November 30th. Titled “satellite-3,” the record will include a new version of his previously released track “stop!” as well as seven new songs for a total of eight.
Ahead of the album’s release, the music video for its opening track “Hoshi ni Negai wo” has been uploaded to the arko lemming YouTube channel. The video, which was directed by Takuya Yotsumoto, features Arishima playing each of the instruments used in the song, these shots juxtaposed against images of the singer in various different outfits.
