A brand new trailer for Gen Hoshino and Issey Takahashi‘s latest film has been released!
Titled “Hikkoshi Daimyo!” (Samurai Shifters) it follows the story of Shunnosuke Katagiri (Gen Hoshino), a laid back samurai and bookworm. One day he receives the seemingly easy mission of helping a lord move. Joined by Genemon Takamura (Issey Takahashi) and Oran (Mitsuki Takahata), the trio embark on their wacky adventure.

It’s serving as the official theme song for the drama series “Strawberry Night Saga“, also starring Kazuya in one of the lead roles. Fans will have the option to purchase three different versions of the single.
Momoiro Clover Z has released the music video for their new song “MORE WE DO!” from their upcoming self-titled 5th album to be released on May 17.
“MORE WE DO!” is a song produced by four-member girl band CHAI—lyrics written by Yuki, composition by Mana, and arrangement by CHAI as a whole.
Avex has announced the acts set to perform the first three dates of their annual music festival a-nation.
This year, a-nation 2019 consists of 5 dates from July to August to be held in Aomori, Mie, Fukuoka and Osaka.
Besides the headliners, each stop on the tour features opening acts and shooting acts—a term avex uses to refer to new, rising acts within their roster.
During Gesu no Kiwami Otome.‘s May 12 concert at Tokyo’s Toyosu PIT, several announcements were made. The first revelation was that the band will release a new digital single, “Himenai Watashi”, on May 13. The song serves as the CM song for AVIOT’s TE-D01g wireless headphones. “Himenai Watashi” features vocals by frontman Kawatani Enon as well as drummer Hona Ikoka. PARKGOLF also contributed to the song’s production. The song’s artwork and music video can be seen below!
The next bit of information revealed was that Gesu no Kiwami Otome. will have a joint concert with another of Enon’s bands, indigo la End, on September 15. The show will take place at Tokyo’s Shinkiba STUDIO COAST in celebration of both bands’ fifth major label debut anniversaries.
It was also announced that Gesu no Kiwami Otome. will have a December tour of Tokyo and Osaka, titled “Henjin Dai Shugo.” The Tokyo concert will be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on December 3 (Enon’s 31st birthday), while the Osaka concert will be held at Festival Hall on December 20.
The last bit of information was the announcement of Jinsen no Sense, a new band that serves as the rival band to Gesu no Kiwami Otome. Jinsen no Sense will make their debut in June with the digital single “Watashi Igai Watashi Janai no, 2”, a play on Gesu no Kiwami Otome.’s 2015 hit. The members of Jinsen no Sense were not revealed.
