A debuted Johnnys group is finally opening an official Youtube account, and it’s none other than national idol group Arashi! Ahead of the release of the group’s music video collection “5 × 20 All the BEST !! CLIPS 1999-2019” on October 16, Arashi’s Youtube channel was opened. This comes after Johnnys Jr and Johnnys office Youtube channel were opened.

Singer-songwriter Gen Hoshino will distribute his 2019 “POP VIRUS” Dome Tour worldwide! The live concert will be exclusively streaming through Netflix starting October 10 at 0:00 JST.

The concert footage comes from the Tokyo Dome performance of his domestic tour held earlier this year. The Netflix version differs slightly from the Blu-ray and DVD releases from August with minor edits and none of the additional bonus content.

Additionally, Hoshino will bring his “POP VIRUS” tour to select cities around the world starting this November, including Shanghai, New York, and Taipei.

“Alternative” idol group BiS has routinely made the news for their out of the ordinary marketing, music, and live performances. The group has disbanded twice, but eventually came back as a brand new generation.

Auditions for the third generation of BiS began in March 2019, after the second generation was disbanded in the same month. The new generation of BiS released their debut album “Brand-new idol Society” in August 2019, but things quickly took a rocky turn for the group.

Talent and sometimes singer misono has revealed some very unfortunate news, she is currently suffering from Meniere’s disease. Since last year misono has commented that she has been experiencing health issues, but never went into details regarding the issues that she had.

misono found out about her diagnoses while helping out her husband NOSUKE, who had testicular cancer. Despite not being an active singer, she still had many activities on the variety tv scene. She would wake up with a sharp pain in her ear, which would get so bad that she would feel dizzy. Naturally this effected her ability to sing.

Top actor Mackenyu Arata has been the face of many CMs this year, and now he has another notch to add to his belt. He has been appointed as the brand new face of SAVAS Milk Protein, one of the many lines under the giant food corporation Meiji.

The “Style Body” line is mainly targeted towards girls, with the concept of the CM targeted around Mackenyu giving you training advice for each day of the week. Meiji claims that this content will inspire young girls to train their body, and keep them motivated to live a healthy lifestyle.

This week, IZ*ONE topped the Hot 100 single chart with their single “Vampire”, with 27,266 points.

Jaejoong topped the Hot Albums chart with his new cover album “Love Covers.”

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Streaming Songs chart for the 19th consecutive week with their single “Pretender.”

Yonezu Kenshi topped the Download Songs chart for the seventh consecutive week with “Uma to Shika.”

Jaejoong also topped the Download Albums chart with “Love Covers.”
