On December 31, the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen air. The show will air from 7:15 PM JST to 11:45 PM JST. As previously reported, the show will be hosted by Uchimura Teruyoshi, with Ayase Haruka leading the Red Team and Arashi‘s Sakurai Sho leading the White Team.

Actor and musician Takuya Kimura recently celebrated his 47th birthday on November 13th, 2019. In celebration, his superstar daughter koki took to Instagram to give him some well wishes, along with sharing some rare and cute photos of the two.
While raising his two daughters, Takuya along wish his wife Shizuka Kudo were quite protective of the two, doing a great job shielding them from paparazzi over the years with only a few photos of them leaking. Very few publically exist of Koki with her parents, especially as a child, so naturally fans are ecstatic when more resurface.
On November 13, Sandaime J Soul Brothers member ELLY will release, “DONNA???”, his first solo CD single under his CRAZYBOY moniker. AKB48 veteran Yuki Kashiwagi wants you to know that age ain’t nothing but a number.
Yuki has been a member of AKB48 for over 10 years, an eternity for idols in general, especially female ones. During the taping for “Best Hit Kayosai 2019” rumors swirled that Yuki made a very important announcement. Naturally, fans wondered if she would announce her graduation from the group. Luckily for her fans, that won’t be happening any time soon.

Folk/pop songstress Miyuki Nakajima has announced that she will be releasing a new album titled “CONTRALTO” next year on January 8th. The record will be Nakajima’s 43rd studio effort in total and her first since 2017’s “Soumon”.
“CONTRALTO” will include Nakajima’s four previously revealed drama themes “Rikyou no Uta”, “Shinkajuu”, “Owari Hatsumono”, and “Kannonbashi”, as well as six new songs for a total of ten. A trailer video which previews all four of the above tracks has also been uploaded to her YouTube channel.

Following up on the release of digital single “NEW ERA” back in August, instrumental jazz trio fox capture plan will be releasing another new single on November 20th. “Precious My Heroes” sees the group teaming up with vocalist Issui Miyamoto to provide the ending theme song for anime “Stand My Heroes PIECE OF TRUTH”.
Ahead of its release date, the band have published the track’s PV to their label’s YouTube channel. The clip centers around a female performer’s wild interpretive dance, her movements set in time with the song.

Folk/pop singer-songwriter Sayuri Murakami will be releasing a new digital EP titled “Yume no Ato” this week on November 13th. The release will include Murakami’s prior digital singles “Momoiro Climax” and “Asayake”, as well as two new songs.
To coincide with the EP’s release, a music video for its lead track “Zurui Hito” has been uploaded to her label’s YouTube channel. The PV finds Murakami singing in a shadowed room as shots of a twilit cityscape and paint swirling through water flit by.
