Actor Keisuke Koide will be making his unanticipated comeback after a 3 year hiatus. Back in June 2017 he was busted by the media after it was found out he was regularly drinking and had an “inappropriate relationship” with a 17-year-old girl.

The reaction to Koide was swift, he was immediately dropped from multiple acting projects including the lead in the Netflix original series “Jimmy: The True Story of a True Idiot“. Previously signed to the high profile agency Amuse, they also dropped Koide due to his underage sex scandal.

Punk rockers MONOEYES announced today that they will be releasing a new album next month on September 23rd. This longplay, titled “Between the Black and Gray”, will be the group’s third studio album together and their first since 2017’s “Dim The Lights”.

“Between the Black and Gray” will include the title song off of the quartet’s 2019 “Interstate 46 E.P.”, as well as ten new tracks for a total of 11. A new artist photo and the album’s cover art were released in conjunction with this announcement.

Singer/songwriter Yu Takahashi is currently in the midst of celebrating the 10th anniversary of his major label debut. As the centerpiece of these festivities, Takahashi will be releasing his seventh full-length album “PERSONALITY” on October 21st.

His first studio set in two years, “PERSONALITY” will include 15 new songs, among them his NHK campaign song “Asphalt no Wani” and digital singles “one stroke” and “room”. Music videos for the latter two tracks – the former bright and cheery, the latter darker and blurrier – have also been made available on Takahashi’s YouTube channel.

Back in April, we reported that electronic rock quartet BBHF would be releasing a new double album titled “BBHF1 -Nankasuru Seinen-“. Originally scheduled for release on May 27th, the onset of the novel coronavirus forced its street date to be rescheduled to September 2nd.

Ahead of this date, the band have issued three of the included tracks – “Bokura no Seikatsu”, “Retake“, and “Kimi wa Sasetekureru” – as digital singles and uploaded a music video for the former to their YouTube channel. The clip features the band members performing the the emotive number at a karaoke box, complete with the occasional intercut of the song’s lyrics.

Former Johnny’s superduo N/A has released the MV for their track “NO GOOD“. It serves as the official theme song for the pairs YouTube channel called “NO GOOD TV”. N/A consists of Jin Akanishi and Ryo Nishikido.

The colorful video features footage of random people and Nishikido jamming along to the song, with Akanishi filming all of his parts at home. Check it out below:

The long awaited graduation date for Nogizaka46 ace Mai Shiraishi has finally been announced. Back in January, 2020 her it was originally announced that she would be leaving the group, her series of final concerts with the group was planned to take place from May 5-7th at Tokyo Dome.

However, due to COVID-19 Shiraishi’s graduation was put in limbo, and eventually the concerts were scrapped all together. In celebration of her 28th birthday on August 20th, Shiraishi launched her own YouTube channel which shared further details on her new graduation plans.

On August 28, Dua Lipa will release “Club Future Nostalgia”, the remix album for her album from earlier this year, “Future Nostalgia.” “Club Future Nostalgia” features collaborations with the likes of Madonna, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani, and BLACKPINK. It will also feature a collaboration with Hoshino Gen.
