This week the marriage of top actors Tori Matsuzaka & Erika Toda dominated headlines! The couple made the surprise announcement on their official Twitter accounts. Many people weren’t even aware that the two were dating. Details about the their marriage and relationship have been kept extremely private, even being able to evade most of the tabloids.

The date of their marriage, and even when they started to officially date has not been revealed. Matsuzaka and Toda previously starred in the 2015 film “Eipuriru Furuzu”, during promotions fans remembered an appearance on SMAP’s legendary variety show “SMAP X SMAP” taking place in March of that year.

Singer MISIA recently had fans very worried after she received spine injuries from falling off of a horse. She was filming a segment for the TBS news television show “news23”. She was participating in a segment highlighting professional athletes with disabilities to help promote the Special Olympics.

Staff on set accidently startled the horse which caused it to suddenly run off and buck MISIA off. Her 6th and 7th thoracic vertebrae was fractured, and had to wear a special corset while recovering. This completely halted promotion activities for her newly released Christmas album “So Special Christmas“, it was speculated that she may have to drop out of Kohaku Uta Gassen inorder to focus on recuperating.

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki recently made a post on her official Instagram account that has fans buzzing! Ayu and her mother visited a park they usually take walks in, accompanied by Ayu’s baby boy. The first photo is a shot of the park ground with fallen leaves, she also included two short videos showing off the beautiful nature in the park. The final 4th shot is of her baby!

This is the very first time the “NOTHING FROM NOTHING” singer has shared a photo of her baby. The photo is a close up shot of his feet, wearing designer Yeezy Boost sneakers.

Earlier this week, Miliyah Kato announced that she is pregnant with her second child. But who is her husband? Apparently, he’s a handsome and popular chef!

His name is Kuroki Jun and he is the chef / owner of the Tokyo restaurant Kurogi. The restuarant was awarded an Innovation Award from the restaurant guide “Gault & Millau” this year. Jun was also awarded one Michelin Star in 2011 and 2012. He’s even appeared on “Iron Chef” as the Japanese chef in 2012 and 2013.

According to a regular diner at Kurogi, Jun is an ikemen whose coolness is enhanced by his culinary skills. He’s become quite famous, but doesn’t let it go to his head, engaging in friendly conversation with diners. It’s a given that he’s popular with female diners. It’s nearly impossible to get a reservation at the restaurant. Jun has also expanded his business by opening a cafe on the University of Tokyo campus, collaborating with an established Miyazaki Prefecture pickle shop, and developing desserts and ice cream.

Miliyah and Jun’s relationship first made news in April 2017. Photos were published of the couple arriving in a foreign luxury car (with Jun driving) at a luxury inn in Shuzenji Onsen in Shizuoka Prefecture.

However, Jun was already married with children at the time he started dating Miliyah, according to a music industry source. When the photos of the new couple were published, Jun had already been divorced before, and had children with his ex-wife. However, at the time he was living with his common law wife and the two children they had together. Due to this situation, the photos were published with the title “Kindan no Koiji (Forbidden Love Road).” Miliyah didn’t know about Jun’s situation until she read the article about them being together, and was shocked upon finding out.

Karin Miyamoto has officially graduated from both Juice=Juice and Hello!Project. The 22-year-old’s graduation was initially announced on February 10th, with a graduation date of June 3rd at the finale of Juice=Juice’s concert tour “CONCERT TOUR 2020 ~Pop Juice Journey~”. However, COVID-19 sabotaged those plans.

Instead, the group held a special one day concert titled “Juice=Juice Concert 2020 ~Tsudzuiteiku STORY~ Miyamoto Karin Sotsugyou Special” held at Nippon Budokan. The concert was broadcast live on select paid TV services, along with some movie theaters in Japan and Taiwan. The setlist consisted of a massive 29 songs, besides Juice=Juice tracks a plethora of covers were included.

Veteran actress Ryoko Shinohara has been cast in a brand new Netflix drama series titled “Goldfish Wife” (Kingyo Tsuma). The drama series is based off the manga of the same name, created by R Kurosawa. The series will tackle the issue of domestic violence and affairs.

Shinohara will play the role of Sakura Hiraga. She is beautiful, wealthy, and is envied by many for supposedly having a “perfect life”, but there are dark secrets hidden behind her glamorous lifestyle. Hiraga always had her own set of dreams and goals, but she was unable to follow them due to a tragic accident.
