The latest box office run records the 4th biggest weekend of all time, with several new movies debuting with impressive numbers and current films showing strong holds at the charts.
Jurassic World records biggest debut for a live-action Hollywood film since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. It opened with 544, 759 admissions and with a higher average ticket price it earned over 845.12 million Yen. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation also opened with impressive numbers at no. 2, along with Boruto: Naruto the Movie at no. 3, delivering the second biggest opening in the Naruto movie franchise. Minions settled for the 4th place while Attack on Titan – Part 1 drops to no. 5

Yesterday, popular fashion website Tokyo Fashion updated their website and Facebook page with a picture of Swiss YouTube starlet Venus Angelic.
Venus Palermo (18), so her real name, currently resides in Tokyo and is known for "looking like a doll" on the internet.
She has previously attracted negative attention for uploading video tutorials with titles like How to look half Japanese or How to look like a Korean girl onto YouTube.
This time, she is accused of lying about the brands she is wearing and other supposed wrongdoings.
Just recently, an online platform called "Pretty Ugly Little Liar" where people spoke up against Venus Angelic and other "Living Doll" YouTubers who are active in Japan (e.g. Dakota Rose) has been taken down. However, it seems as if the negative voices won’t back down so easily.
As hinted in the final episode of popular Fuji TV drama "Nobunaga Concerto", a full-length movie for the series is in the works!
It has now been announced that the film, starring Shun Oguri and Kou Shibasaki, will be released on January 23, 2016.
There will be a large-scale fighting scene featuring approximately 300 extras and scenes that were filmed in traditional settings like Kamigamo Shrine (Kyoto) and Hikone Castle (Shiga) to look forward to.
Filming has recently wrapped up and the movie is now in post-production.
A trailer has not been published yet but will definitely come out very soon.
Noctis and the boys are back!
Last weekend, Square Enix presented some new footage of the highly anticipated 15th installment of their Final Fantasy series at German video game fair "Gamescom".
A cinematic trailer, titled "Dawn", reveals events that happened prior to the game’s main story.
Another video, footage of an encounter with a new type of enemy called "Malboro", shows off the game’s actual in-game graphics as well as a previously undisclosed area of the game’s vast world.
A year ago today, SEKAI NO OWARI’s Fukase confirmed via Twitter rumors that he was dating Kyary Pamyu Pamyu for the a little over a year. A few days ago, he took to Twitter to reveal something else, something that fans think is about his relationship with Kyary. It has been announced that Fuji TV will broadcast a drama adaptation of Sayaka Yamazaki’s suspense manga “Siren” this October.
Actress Fumino Kimura and actor Tori Matsuzaka will serve as the show’s female and male lead respectively.
The two have previously appeared together in morning drama “Ume-chan Sensei” and the movies “Piece of Cake” and “Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu” but this is the first time they will play a pair of lovers.
Last thursday, the AKB48 Taiwan Audition took place in Taipei, Taiwan. At first, only one person was supposed to be selected, however that number was raised to a whopping 17.

As previously reported, on September 16, Crystal Kay will release her new single, “REVOLUTION.” The title track is a duet with Namie Amuro, a singer who Crystal has idolized since her youth. Earlier today, the song made its premiere on radio station J-WAVE’s show “GROOVE LINE Z.” We now have a recording of that premiere. A short lyric video was also uploaded on Youtube today.
