Takanori, Hiroomi, and Naoki of Sandaime J Soul Brothers to Star in New Pocky Ad Campaign

This year, beloved snack food Pocky is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To help kick off the celebration, Ezaki Glico, Pocky’s makers, have drafted 3 members of Sandaime J Soul Brothers to star in a new ad campaign. Group members Takanori, Hiroomi, and Naoki will star in the new campaign, titled “THE Sharehappi.”

On September 1, the campaign’s first CM, “Sharehappi Debut”, will hit television screens. A dance contest in conjunction with the campaign will kick off the same day. On September 7, the second CM, “Sharehappi Dance” will make its tv debut. Naoki is in charge of the choreography in these commercials.

Nishino Kana Releases PV for “Torisetsu”

On September 9, Nishino Kana will release her new single, “Torisetsu.” The song is the theme song for the movie “Heroine Shikkaku”, which opens in theaters on September 19.

Kana recently released the music video for “Torisetsu.” The song finds Kana continuing the country pop sound of her last few singles. In the video, Kana plays the narrator of a stage play consisting of a cast of young women. Check it out after the jump along with the single’s tracklist!

Japan’s hip-hop prince KOHH to release 3rd album!

When one thinks of new and cool Japanese hip-hop artists, KOHH‘s name is usually on the list. After gaining popularity for rep’n Japanese trap music in the It G Ma video, the current prince of Japanese hip-hop is back with a new original album. It is ready to drop on October 28th, so get your cash together.

The title of his long-awaited third album is DIRT. Yes, we’re not kidding you, it’s been named DIRT. But despite it’s name, the tracks are promised to be anything but that. Many in the industry are talking and saying that it’s possibly his highest quality work thus far. Especially since he made the voyage over to New York to record some of the tracks.

The first press edition of this album is sure to delight fans as it will come with a DVD that features music videos for all of his songs, filmed in either London or Paris. TRF’s SAM is married to woman in her 20s & has a baby girl

On the 25th issue of FLASH magazine reports that TRF‘s dancer, SAM (53) married to a woman in her 20s and they currently have a baby girl together.

His companion is not part of the Japanese entertainment world and is said to resemeble freelance announcer Yamagashi Mai (28). The magazine continues that the baby girl was born late last year and around the same time, the two got married. They also published pics of SAM holding his daughter on a stroll through their neighbourhood. It is believed that he was friends with his wife no less than 2 years prior to the marriage and birth of their child.

When contacting his agency, they stated that it is his private business and they only watch over him warmly and wish for his happiness. This is not first time SAM has been married. He was previously married to songstress Namie Amuro (37) back in 1997 and they divorced in 2002. The son they had together was born in 1998.

SEKAI NO OWARI to Release New Single “SOS / Present”

On September 25, SEKAI NO OWARI will release their new single “SOS / Present.” “SOS” will serve as the theme song for the new movie “Shingeki no Kyojin ATTACK ON TITAN End of the World”, which opens in theaters on September 19. “Present” will serve as the theme song for the 82nd NHK Nationwide School Music Competition.

This single will come in 3 editions: 2 CD+DVD Limited Editions and a CD only Regular Edition. CD+DVD Limited Edition A’s DVD will include the “SOS” music video and its making, while the DVD that comes with Limited Edition B will feature footage from a concert from last October.

Is the Brother of Imaichi Ryuji of Sandaime J Soul Brothers a Gay Porn Actor?

Sandaime J Soul Brothers are on top of the Japanese music industry right now. They have the biggest selling album of the year so far. They also won the Japan Record Award in December for their massive hit “R.Y.U.S.E.I.” But fans have noticed something about a family member of one of the group’s members.

Imaichi Ryuji is one of the group’s 2 vocalists. For the past few months, fans have been abuzz about the work of his older brother, Naoyuki. He is an actor. He made his acting debut in 2005. In 2006, he appeared in the NHK drama “Komyo ga Tsuji”,  the TBS drama “Gachi Baka!“, and the Fuji TV drama “Nodame Cantabile.” Sandaime J Soul Brothers’ fans even found a clip of Naoyuki playing the role of Tsuboi Ryuji in “Nodame Cantabile.”

Karina makes her comeback in new drama “The Day Before the Wedding”

It was announced that Karina will be starring in TBS new drama “Kekkonshiki no zenjitsu ni” (The Day Before the Wedding), which will start in October, Tuesdays at 10 pm.

Her last lead role was in FUJI TV’s 2011 drama “Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu” and she last appeared in a drama in FUJI TV’s 2013 “Summer Nude”. In the new drama, she’ll play the role of Serizawa Hitomi, a project leader of a real estate company who was diagnosed with brain tumor 100 days before her wedding. She is then reunited with her mother after 28 years, who encourages her to live positively.

Suzuki Ryohei is cast as her fiance, a physician. Her mother will be portrayed by Harada Mieko and her father will be played by Endo Kenichi. Joining them are Yamamoto Yusuke, Erina Mano, Miho Jun and Enami Kyoko.
