On December 31, this year’s Johnny’s Countdown, “Nihonju ni Genki wo!! Johnny’s Countdown 2020-2021 ~Tokyo no Machi kara Uta de Tsunagaru Namahoso~”, will be held. It will air on Fuji TV from 11:45 PM til 12:45 AM January 1. Kanjani8‘s Murakami Shingo will serve as host.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will not be taking place at Tokyo Dome as usual. Johnny & Associates want to do this special Johnny’s Countdown in an effort to energize all of Japan.
