Check out the full music video for Arashi’s latest single “Tsunagu”. The single was released last June 28. Member Ohno Satoshi is responsible for the choreography of the song, incorporating bits of “ninja style” to their moves. The high energy song drums up prominent electric guitars and shamisen and opens up with “Are you ready?”. Get into the beat with their newest PV below!

“Tsunagu” is the theme song for the movie “Shinobi no Kuni” (The Land of Ninjas) starring Ohno which opens July 1!

Koki Tanaka Will Not Be Prosecuted for Marijuana Possession Charges

It has been announced via the official INKT Ameba Blog that band vocalist Koki Tanaka, who was arrested on suspicion for violating the Cannabis control law for marijuana possession last month, will not be prosecuted for the charges against him.

Sansei District prosecutors said on June 30th that it was decided he will not be prosecuted, Jiji (via Yahoo! News) reports.

We did not obtain enough evidence to prosecute him for a crime,” local prosecution explained.

Momoko Tsugunaga Graduates From Hello! Project & Retires From Showbiz

Last night, idol Momoko Tsugunaga bid farewell to her position in Country GirlsHello!Project, and show business in general at her solo concert “Tsugunaga Momoko Last Live ♥Arigatou Otomomochi♥“.

The concert took place on June 30, the same day as her 15th anniversary as an idol, at a special outdoor venue in Odaiba. The concert was broadcast live on Niconico Live, with the second half only available to premium members.

Back in November 2016, Momoko announced her graduation during Country Girls’ 2016 Winter Tour. As a private citizen, Momoko will pursue her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher.

The Late Mao Kobayashi’s Blog to be Translated to English

On the 30th, Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizo (39) has announced his intention to provide English-translated blog posts from his late wife Mao Kobayashi, the TV presenter who passed away at the age of 34 this past week after a long battle with breast cancer, Cinema Today reports.

This news follows his tearful press conference given appearance to honor her.

Shortly after the announcement of her breast cancer last year, Kobayashi opened her official blog “KOKORO” to share her journey as a cancer patient. Kobayashi invoked reader’s empathy taking her doctor’s advice to not “hide behind cancer” and posted to her blog up until two days before her death, when she posted an ode to her love of freshly squeezed orange juice.

SKE48 hit the beach in Taiwan for new PV “Igai ni Mango”

The members of idol group SKE48 take it to the beach and hit the streets with their cameras for their latest music video “Igai ni Mango“.

Filmed off the coast of mainland Taiwan on the Penghu Islands, “Igai ni Mango” is the 21st single released by SKE48. Fifteen-year-old Yuna Obata will serve as the center for this single, which marks her first time in the senbatsu.

Indie rock band indigo la End have uploaded a digest video with snippets of the songs from their upcoming album “Crying End Roll“.

As previously announced, the Enon Kawatani-led band will release their third major label album (and fourth overall) on July 12, a little over a year after their last album, June 2016’s “Aiiro Music.”

The album “Crying End Roll” will contain 12 songs, including “Kane Naku Inochi”, which serves as the opening theme for the Fuji TV On Demand drama “Boku wa Mari no Naka”, which premiered on June 6. Two of the songs on the album are remixes of older songs, one provided by Qrion, while the other was done by Chan MARI, keyboardist of Gesu no Kiwami Otome.’s.
