E-girls go artsy in new MV for “Pain, pain”

Girl group E-girls have released the MV for their 22nd single Pain, pain.

The title track is being used as the current theme song for the TBS drama series Kimi ga Kokoro ni Sumi Tsuita starring Riho Yoshioka and Kenta Kiratani . Described as a new frontier for the girls, both the MV and song leave a vivid impression. The somewhat haunting melody creates a mysterious atmosphere for the listener. The lyrics to the song were provided by longtime LDH collaborator Masato Odake.

Throughout the MV the girls are seen wearing various avant-garde outfits, and in signature LDH fashion a flashy dance routine is one of the major highlights. Pain, pain will be released in three versions, including a deluxe CD+DVD that comes with special packaging and a premium photobook. Covers and b-sides for the single have yet to be revealed.

Pain, pain will hit Japanese store shelves on February 28th, 2018. Watch the MV (technically a short ver…) below the jump!
