SEKAI NO OWARI to release three New Albums in 2019

Fully four years after the release of their previous album, pop-rockers SEKAI NO OWARI have announced that they will be releasing three brand new records next year.  The first two, titled “Eye” and “Lip” respectively, will be released simultaneously on February 27th, while the third, “Chameleon,” will be the group’s first full-length release under their English moniker End of the World and is expected to hit store shelves next spring.

“Eye” has been described as a record built from the band’s condensed ‘madness,’ while “Lip” is intended to demonstrate the popular appeal which is unique to SEKAI NO OWARI.  The former’s Limited Edition will come packaged with a DVD containing live footage from the group’s outdoor concert “INSOMNIA TRAIN,” while the latter’s will include a Music Video collection.  Following these two releases, the band will embark on an arena tour starting next April.

Though information about all of these releases is scarce as of yet, you’ll find the cover art for both “Eye” and “Lip,” plus the group’s recently released PV for “Illumination” right after the cut.

RADWIMPS take on the mass media in their Music Video for “PAPARAZZI ~*Kono Monogatari wa Fiction Desu~”

Earlier this year we reported that popular rock band RADWIMPS will be releasing their latest studio album “ANTI ANTI GENERATION” on December 12th.  Though they have already unveiled a music video for album track “Sokkenai,” the group have now published an additional PV for “PAPARAZZI ~*Kono Monogatari wa Fiction Desu~” to their YouTube channel.

This Tetsuya Nagato-directed video attempts to bring the track’s lyrics to life, with actors playing the parts described in frontman Yojiro Noda‘s rap.  What starts as a young child asking his father about the latter’s job as a paparazzo turns into a blistering critique of the profession as an additional perspective intrudes on their conversation.

You’ll find the full version of this cinematic music video, as well as radio rips of the band’s collaboration tracks with ONE OK ROCK’s Taka and singer/songwriter Aimyon right after the jump.

Tsubasa has finished his contract and retired from the company last September to focus on his medical treatment. He’ll be the first to appear at the Countdown as a former talent.

THE CHARM PARK celebrates life in his Music Video for “Imperfection”

This PV, which was directed by Shuichi Bamba, features Charm’s performance of the track in a number of different locales – such as a city and the center of a lake.  A digest which contains previews of the double album’s remaining tracks, including tie-in songs “For You” and “Wonderland,” has also been made available.
