On November 6, Kukikodan member Yamazaki Yukari will release her first solo album, “Kaze no Naka ni Utau.” Yukari wrote all of the songs on the album, except for one, a cover of Kanno Yoko‘s 2007 song “Long Goodbye.” The rest of the album features new song written by Yukari and composed by the likes of EPO, Matsumoto Ryoki, and Senoo Takeshi. Most of the album was arranged by Gomi Shunya, musicians such as KASHIF, KIRINJI‘s Chigasaki Manabu, and Skirt playing on it. Check out more information on this release below!
On November 6, eill will release her first album, “SPOTLIGHT.” The album will feature the song “20”, which has attracted attention through being featured on “Terrace House.”
“SPOTLIGHT” will also feature a number of collabrations with different producers. “ONE LAST TIME” is produced by AmPm, while “Fly me 2” is produced by 80KIDZ. There is also the song “Ma boy”, which is produced by the unit SOURCEKEY, composed of SKY-HI and SHIMI (BUZZER BEATS).

Visuals for the Japanese version of the iconic film and Broadway musical “Hairspray” have been released! Playing the lead role of “Tracy Turnblad” is none other than comedian Naomi Watanabe.
Supporting roles include Crystal Kay as “Motormouth Maybelle Stubbs”, Yuichiro Yamaguchi as “Edna Turnblad”, and Hiroki Miura as the heartthrob “Lincoln “Link” Larkin”.
The popular franchise “Star Wars” is about to get a historical twist! A special “Kabuki” rendition of the story, appropriately titled “Star Wars Kabuki“, will be making it’s debut in Japan at the end of November.
Kabuki is a classical dance-drama, world renowned for it’s elaborate and distinct makeup and costumes. Ichikawa Ebizo will play one of the major roles as the character “Kylo Ren”, Ichikawa is also responsible for supervising the entire production.

Electronic/rock quartet Newspeak will be releasing their first studio album, titled “No Man’s Empire”, this week on November 6th. “No Man’s Empire” follows last year’s mini-album “Out Of The Shrinking Habitat” and is set to include 11 brand new songs from the group.
To coincide with the record’s release, the band have published the music video for its lead track “Wide Bright Eyes” to their YouTube channel. The clip pairs the upbeat number with a loud, in your face series of visuals starring a female lead.
