Rock band QUEEN BEE will be providing the official theme song for the upcoming Fuji Tv’s “10 no Himitsu“, starring Yukie Nakama.

Yukie plays the role of Yukiko Sendai, ex-wife to Keita Shirakawa (Osamu Mukai). One day Keita receives a mysterious phone call claiming that his daughter has been kidnapped. The only way for her to be saved is for Keita to meet up with Yukiko. While on the search for his daughter, Keita learns some startling information about both Yukiko and their daughter.

It has been announced that Mai Shiraishi will be graduating from Nogizaka46 sometime in 2020. Her final release with the group will be their 25th single, due out on March 25h, 2020. The announcement was made on January 7th, via the groups official website.

More in depth ratings for the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen have now been released! The most viewed moment of the show was in the second half at 11:41 PM, right before the announcement of the winner, when a digest video of the night’s performers was airing. The rating was 42.3% in the Kanto region and 46% in the Kansai region. The Kanto region is seen as the main region of Japan, so the rest of the ratings will be reflective of that.

Arashi was the most viewed act with a rating of 40.8%, followed by Hikawa Kiyoshi with 40.4%, and MISIA with 40.1%. These performances were all in the second of the show.

The first and second parts of the Television Film “Kyojo” have just aired nationwide on Japanese television. Takuya Kimura plays the lead role, with support from Asuka Kudo, Haruna Kawaguchi, and Kento Hayashi. Part 1 aired on January 4th, while the second aired on January 5th.

The film will follow Kimichi Kazama (Takuya Kimura), a well respected veteran instructor at a police academy. While he can be very strict, he also has a very calm aura with a natural charisma.

90 students from various different backgrounds all want to successfully graduate from the academy, but many feel anxiety from the strict rules and harshness from Kazama. Some students begin to wonder what the real purpose is for Kazama giving so much hardship to the students.
