Full trailer and additional cast have been released for the live-action film adaptation of the popular manga Kamisama no Iutoori (As the God’s Will) written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro with art by Akeji Fujimura. Directed by Takashi Miike, the film stars Sota Fukushi alongside Hirona Yamazaki  and Ryunosuke Kamiki.

A 2nd-year high school student named Shun Takahata (Fukushi) lives an ordinary teenage life until one day a malevolent Daruma doll appears in front of his class and forces the students to participate in a series of children’s games such as “Daruma-san ga Koronda” with death as the penalty for losing. With no knowledge of who’s behind the games, he’s left with no other choice but to keep winning as his only means of protecting himself and his childhood friend, Ichika (Yamazaki). Meanwhile, a troubled classmate named Takeru (Kamiki) seems to actually be relishing the opportunity to get other students killed.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” from QUEEN, a British Rock Band was chosen as the image song. Movie opens November 15.

On December 3, Daichi Miura is set to release his 13th single. The double A-side single is titled “Furueau Dake de ~Always with you~ / IT’S THE RIGHT TIME.” The single will come in 3 editions and it will include Daichi’s digital single “Bring It Down” which was released on October 1. “Furueau Dake de ~Always with you~” is the new Nivea CM song while “IT’S THE RIGHT TIME” is the ending theme for the NTV anime series Kiseijuu : Sei No Kakuritsu. Twin models Mim and Mam have begun activities as musical unit mimmam with the release of the PV for their debut single “Yurayura buruu“.

Both of them are exclusive Zipper models who began working with the magazine a little over a year ago. Within the past year, they have built up their brand and with the launch of collaboration projects with fashion brands, tie-ins with apparel stores and circle lens manufacturers.

The video was directed by Tomokazu Yamada and is like a cinemagraph. Both Mim and Mam are stationary and void of expression while the objects they hold are lively and exciting.

For this year’s ’65th NHK Kohaku Singing Contest’ the host for the red team has been announced to be actress Yuriko Yoshitaka and for the white team, idol group Arashi has been chosen as hosts for the 5th time in a row. The mediator will be television announcer Yumiko Udo.

‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’ or just ‘Kohaku’ is a yearly singing contest where the white team who are all male artists compete against the red team who are comprised of female artists. For a lot of artists it is prestigious to be chosen to perform on the show.

At LINE‘s annual Tokyo conference, the company known for its messaging application for smartphones and personal computers, announced new joint ventures for gaming, manga and music streaming.
