On November 30, JUJU will release her new single “believe believe / Anata Igai Daremo Aisenai.” The first A-side serves as the theme song for the Nippon TV drama “Rental Kyuuseishu”, while the second A-side serves as the CM song for Sony’s High Resolution-Kyuu Wireless products. The single also includes a version of “believe believe” featuring Akirahen Yugo, Sawamura Ikki’s character in “Rental Kyuuseishu.” Check out more information on the single below!

Shukan Bunshun recently reported two different female announcers visiting Hey! Say! JUMP‘s Kei Inoo (26) at his apartment. Misato Ugaki (25) of TBS’s Asachan! and Mana Mikami (27) of Fuji TV’s Mezamashi Terebi were spotted outside of Inoo’s apartment building. Both of the announcers work for morning news shows. Inoo is also working as a regular of Mezamashi Terebi on Thursdays.
In anticipation for their new single, ‘Danger‘, Especia has released it’s image video. Under the direction of Kotaka Yonekura, Especia was able to continue to show their fans the new visual path they’ve decided to take on since the year began. Their mature sound that also came with the new visuals are sticking around as well; with Lucky Tapes‘ Kai Takahashi producing the new single. Instrumental jazz acts fox capture plan and bohemianvoodoo have worked together in the past, producing a 4-track mini-album titled “Color & Monochrome” back in late 2013. Now the two bands have decided to join forces once again in order to craft a sequel to this release – “Color & Monochrome 2” – which will be available in stores on December 7th.
Ahead of this date both groups have unveiled a music video for their respective lead songs on the mini-album. fox capture plan’s “Acceleration” sees the band delving further into their experimentation with electronic sounds, while bohemianvoodoo’s “Golden Forest” takes a more natural, acoustic approach, providing a striking yet complementary contrast between the two songs.

On November 29, Nippon TV aired its annual year end music special, Best Artist. The 4-hour long show was hosted by Arashi’s Sakurai Sho. Best Artist 2016 featured performances by the likes of Arashi, Perfume, [Alexandros], Leo Ieiri, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, JUJU, Kanjani8, Nishino Kana, and more. Check it out below!
Veteran singer/songwriter Koshi Inaba, better known as the vocalist for hard rock titans B’z, has announced that he will be releasing a new album next year on January 18th. This release, titled “CHUBBY GROOVE”, is the result of a long-awaited collaboration between Koshi and his close friend (and renowned guitarist) Stevie Salas and will be issued under the special project name “INABA / SALAS”.
“CHUBBY GROOVE” will consist of 12 songs which the duo recorded all over the world, in places as far-flung as Tokyo and Toronto, and involving a number of their other friends in the music industry, such as mixer Tim Palmer (known for his work with U2 and David Bowie). The music video for the album’s opening track, “SAYONARA RIVER”, gives a glimpse into just what this recording process was like, showing us some of the more memorable moments from along the way.

From breaking into the US Singles Charts to appearing in Sesame Street, renowned singer-songwriter and timeless pop icon Piko-Taro has surely been what we can call a viral sensation. Now, he is set to bless the people with his first CD after several digital singles! Titled “PPAP” and with December 7th as release date, this album will feature 25 songs whose themes vary from the drama of having a new Russian step-mother to the joy of being able to see darker with a pair of sunglasses, without forgetting the touching tale of a man with the obsession of sticking fruit and pens together.
As it’s usual in the Japanese market, the release will come in two editions: a regular CD-only edition and a limited CD+DVD edition. The DVD will feature 20 music videos plus 4 pieces of special footage, and the first press of it will feature special bonuses such as an apron resembling his costume and Piko-Taro stickers. This announcement comes just four days after the release of his newest creation, “Futamojime Mistake”, an exquisite, linguistic experimental track which skillfully develops into EDM in the second part.
