Pop-rock band Negoto recently announced that they will be releasing their fourth full album next year on February 1st. Titled “ETERNALBEAT”, this record will be the group’s first since 2015’s “VISION” and is currently planned to be released in two versions, with the Limited Edition to be packaged with both a second CD (containing remixes of past tracks done by the band’s guitarist Mizuki Masuda) and a DVD (containing music videos related to the album).
“ETERNALBEAT” will consist of 11 songs, including previously released tracks like “DESTINY”, “asymmetry”, and “holy night”, as well as new songs like the Masayuki Nakano (BOOM BOOM SATELLITES) produced “Signal” and the Tatsuki Masuko (ROVO) produced “cross motion”.

Iriyama Noriko and Shison Jun are your new Sumire and Momo in the latest drama version of Yayaoi Ogawa’s popular manga “Kimi wa Petto”! This was confirmed months ago, but no air date was set.
The 16-episode drama will air late night starting February 6 on FUJI TV. The manga was previously adapted into a 10-episode live-action television series in 2003 starring Koyuki as Sumire and Matsumoto Jun as Momo.

Last year, it was reported that Lionsgate has acquired the film rights to the popular anime and manga series Naruto. If you are wondering what happened to the supposed Hollywood live action adaptation of “Naruto”, then here’s an update for all of you manga and anime fans!
At the Jump Festa event held last December Dec 17, the manga’s creator Kishimoto Masashi confirms the live action adaptation of Naruto. Kishimoto himself is involved in the production and is working with director Michael Gracey. Pre-production art was also revealed at the event.

We bring you the season ender ratings for the Fall JDrama 2016 season! “Doctor X” continued its dominance with a consistent strong showing until its last episode. With over 21% in aveage ratings, it ranks at the top of the commercial dramas aired for this year. “Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu” continued its steep rise in ratings, ending with over 20% during its final episode. Taiga drama “Sanada Maru” also ended its run. Check out the rest below.

Fans have been waiting for years for the release of “Kingdom Hearts III.” One of the questions about the new game is whether Utada Hikaru would return to sing the new theme song. Back in 2013, Utada Teruzane, the father of Utada Hikaru, tweeted that his daughter’s involvement with the new game’s theme song was undecided. Today, he’s singing a different tune. A fan tweeted the Utadas earlier today asking if a decision had been made regarding the “Kingdom Hearts III” theme, and Teruzane replied.
This week, Hey! Say! JUMP topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “Give Me Love”, selling 247,605 copies in its first week.
BOYS AND MEN topped the Oricon album chart with their new album “Ifu Dodo~B.M.C.A.~”, selling 43,555 copies in its first week.
Big Bang topped the Oricon digital album chart with their new Korean album “MADE”, selling 3,723 copies in its first week.
At 7 PM JST on December 23, Music Station will air this year’s edition of its annual year end special, Music Station Super Live. The show will be a little over 4 hours long.
