On March 22, ex-BiS member Yufu Terashima will release a new single, “Tenshi no Telepathy”. A music video for one of the b-sides, “Shuuten, Watashi”, has dropped and it marks marks a major genre shift for her. However, it is too early to tell if Yufu is going to follow in the footsteps of Morning Musume’s Yuko Nakazawa and AKB48’s Misaki Iwasa as the other two songs are produced and written by the same group of people who contributed to the idol’s debut album “Watashi ni Naru” that was released last year.

On February 22, Creephyp will release their new “work collection” (not single or album or mini album), “Mosugu Tsuku kara Mattetene.” The “work collection” includes five songs. One of the songs is “Yo”, a Kobayashi Takeshi production that features KANA-BOON’s Taguchi Maguro. “Yo” serves as the CM song for Tokyo Metro’s “Find my Tokyo.” campaign. In addition to the original version of the song, “Mosugu Tsuku kara Mattetene.” also includes a Creephyp-only version of it. This release also includes the ending theme for the second season of the anime “Ajin”, “Kotei no Sumi ni Futari, Kaze ga Fuite Ima Nara Ieru ka na.” Check out more information on Creephyp’s new release below!
The official website for the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist live action movie announced its premiere date as December 1 2017. Also, a still featuring the CG Alphonse Elric, younger brother to main protagonist Edward Elric, has been revealed. In just over a month’s time director Masaaki Yuasa’s interpretation of Tomihiko Morimi’s award-winning romance novel “Yoru wa Mijikashi Arukeyo Otome” will open in Japanese theaters. The film tells the story of an upperclassman, known simply as ‘Senpai”, and the lengths to which he will go to get the target of his affections, a younger girl whose antics he has difficulty keeping up with, to notice his feelings. The role of Senpai will be voiced by popular singer and actor Gen Hoshino, while the female lead ‘Girl With Black Hair’ will be voiced by Kana Hanazawa.
The movie’s theme song will be performed by rock band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, whom also provided music for the adaptation of Morimi’s “The Tatami Galaxy”. A preview of the track, titled “Kouya wo Aruke”, can be found in the trailer recently published by the film’s distributor TOHO.

Ohara Sakurako will be releasing her 6th single “Hirari” on March 8. The title track is used as the theme song for the film “Cheer☆Dance” starring Hirose Suzu while the song “Aoi Kisetsu” was used as an insert song. Both B-sides “Coming Soon!!!” and “Realize” were used as CM songs.
