“Fullmetal Alchemist” live action update: new still for Alphonse Elric revealed

The official website for the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist live action movie announced its premiere date as December 1 2017.  Also, a still featuring the CG Alphonse Elric, younger brother to main protagonist Edward Elric, has been revealed.  Innovative techniques that are new to the Japanese film industry has been employed in order to create the final look for this fully CG character.  Click the Read More to see Alphonse!!

A glimpse of Alphonse can be seen in the first trailer as well as a far shot in the first official poster.  However, through this new still,  more intricate details of the armor can be seen at a closer view.

The CG used in Japanese films, particularly live action adaptations of anime/manga, has been scrutinized as being generally bad or simply unattractive.  What do you think of the CG used to create Alphonse?
