As previously reported Namie Amuro‘s latest song “Just You and I” will serve as the theme for Erika-sama’s drama “Haha ni Naru”.

Namie’s 45th single overall, “Just You and I” will be seeing it’s physical release on May 31st, 2017. Coming in the standard two versions, the b-side is fun a upbeat dance track called “Strike A Pose”. Currently “Strike A Pose” is being used as the CM music for the hair product “ReVIA” in which Namie also stars herself. The DVD edition of the single will come with the full music video for “Just You and I”. At select stores a bonus B2 size poster of the CD+DVD cover will also be included with your purchase while supplies last.

J-rock group BRATS burst onto the scene in 2011 when lead singer Rei Kuromiya decided to become a vocalist. During the formation of BRATS Rei’s older sister Aya Kuromiya was recruited to play bass, and Aya’s friend Hinako was put in charge of guitar.Rei originally got an early start in the entertainment industry as a junior idol. She later gained notoriety worldwide by joining the idol group “LADYBABY” consisting of cross-dressing performer Ladybeard and Rie Kaneko. Upon Ladybeard’s withdrawal from the group, the two went on to perform as “The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY”

In 2016 BRATS released their song “Ainikoiyo”, which served as the opening theme to the anime “To Be Hero”. The following year the girls scored another major tie-in when their song “Nounai Shoukyo Game” was selected as the theme for the film “Slaveman”.

Both “Ainikoiyo” and “Nounai Shoukyo Game” will see their official physical release in June as a double a-side single. A special limited edition CD+DVD version will be available, with the DVD content coming with two music videos for “Nounai Shoukyo Game” and “Ainikoiyo”, as well as their full 6 song performance from their March 29th, 2017 concert at the Ikebukuro Live Inn Rosa. The single will be released on June 21st, 2017

Domoto Koichi topped the Hot Albums chart his new album “KOICHI DOMOTO ‘Endless SHOCK’ Original Sound Track 2.”

This week’s guests were Mizuno Yoshiki, Honma Akimitsu, Shimada Masanori, Hayashibe Naoki, Muraishi Masayuki, Takegami Yoshinari, Asakura Shinji, Adachi Takashi, Takahashi Shigeo, and Kojima Ruriko. Honma, Hayashibe, Takegami, Muraishi, Asakura, and Adachi also performed with Kanjani8.

Following a few quieter months, popular rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN have chosen to make their new song “Ribbon” available for digital download starting today.  A breezy, gently lilting number, “Ribbon” has already been picked as the latest CM track for Samsung’s “Galaxy” line of phones.

In support of this release, the band have uploaded the footage of the song’s first live performance, which was streamed back on February 10th to officially close their 20th anniversary year.  Furthermore, BUMP will also be holding a nationwide arena tour starting in September and concluding early next year in January.
