PINK CRES. Release Two Music Videos Ahead of Debut Album “crescendo”

New girl group PINK CRES., formed by former Berryz Koubou member Natsuyaki Miyabi following the group’s disbandment last year, have uploaded music videos for “fun fun fun” & “Kirei・Kawai・Mirai” to their official YouTube channel.

Both are from their upcoming independent debut album “crescendo“, which will feature 9 songs in total.

The song “fun fun fun” is a self-love bop with a summery PV, while the “Kirei・Kawai・Mirai” includes live footage from their performance at “Buono! Live 2017 ~Pienezza!~” with additional illustrative flourishes to liven up the scene.

This week, B’z topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “Seimai / Still Alive”, selling 121,039 copies in its first week.

Hata Motohiro topped the Oricon album chart his new best album “
All Time Best Hata Motohiro”, selling 42,342 copies in its first week.

Motohiro also topped the Oricon digital album chart with his new best album.

Dempagumi.inc member Pinky forms new unit with Finnish idols Noora & Petra

It has been revealed that a new unit consisting of Dempagumi.inc member Pinky and Finnish idols Noora & Petra has been formed.

Together they form Pinky! Noora & Petra, and their formation was announced at the recent “DEARSTAGE SHOWCASE 2017” event where they revealed their plans to release debut single “Aurora to Piece” on August 23rd.

The single “Aurora to Peace” was composed by Tomi Yo with lyrical contributions from MCper, and will be released in 2 limited editions and 1 regular version.

Ayumi Hamasaki Makes First Variety Appearance in 4 Years

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki made an appearance on Nippon TV talk-variety program “Shabekuri 007,” which aired on June 19.

This marks Hamasaki’s first time on a variety program in about four years since her appearance on FujiTV’s “SMAP x SMAP” broadcast on April 8, 2013. Additionally, it was her first appearance on Nippon TV in 7 years.

The main personalities on “Shabekuri 007” are comedy trio Neptune (Jun Nagura, Taizo Harada, and Ken Horiuchi), the Cream Stew duo (Shinya Ueda and Teppei Arita), and the Tutorial duo (Yoshimi Tokui and Mitsunori Fukuda), and the main topic of the episode was centered around Hamasaki and getting to know more about her private life.

The studio audience consisted exclusively of women that are fans of Hamasaki, filling the space with “kya“s as she entered the stage.

Fukuoka police arrest 44-year-old man for stalking 18-year-old HKT48 member

Fukuoka prefecture police have arrested a 44-year-old man for violating the stalker regulation law for wandering around the home of an 18-year-old member of idol group HKT48.

The man reportedly had driven by the apartment of the 18-year-old member at least four times at a low-speed from May 29th through June 22, Yahoo News reports.

I thought it might be possible to meet her if I pass by in front of her house,” the man reportedly told police.

[Snippet] New Utada Hikaru song “Forevermore,” theme for drama “Gomen, Aishiteru”

It has been announced that singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru will provide the theme song for upcoming TBS drama “Gomen, Aishiteru,” Yahoo reports.

The drama is remake of 2004 South Korean drama series “Sorry, I Love You” and stars Tomoya Nagase, Shinobu Otake, Riho Yoshioka and Kentaro Sakaguchi. The first episode airs July 9.
