Metal band BABYMETAL has decided to launch their very own apparel brand, titled BMD FOX APPAREL.
The first collection to come out greatly distinguishes itself from previous BABYMETAL merchandise, instead of the typical t-shirt or hoodie the clothes consist of techwear/sportswear. Three items have been announced so far, with more expected to be revealed in the upcoming months.
Fans will be able to purchase a flashy looking jacket, shorts, and leggings. By developing this set of sportswear the girls hope it helps encourage their fans to get a “metal heart” and “strong steel body”.
This week, NGT48 topped the Hot 100 chart with their new single “Haru wa Doko Kara Kuru no ka?”
Yumi Matsutoya topped the Hot Albums chart with her new best album “Yuming kara no, Koi no Uta.”
TWICE topped the Streaming Songs chart with their new single “What Is Love?”
Yonezu Kenshi topped the Download Songs chart for the eighth consecutive week with his single “Lemon.”
The “GRANBLUE FANTASY” soundtrack topped the Download Albums chart.
EXILE SHOKICHI has released a brand new MV for his solo single Underdog.
For this release instead of the usual hip-hop/urban sound, Underdog has a very heavy rock influence. The song made use of heavily distorted guitars blended in with an addictive beat, it’s been officially described as “rock and trap”, but it’s basically just a pop rock song.
The song was produced by long-time LDH collaborator UTA, SHOKICHI, and Koda Kumi’s husband KENJI03.
The b-side will be a cover of the song ROCKET DIVE, by hide and spread beaver. SHOKICHI’s version is said to heavily incorporate elements of hip-hop, while still staying to to it’s rock origins.

Last night, Seiko Oomori revealed the details of her upcoming album release “Kusokawa PARTY”, set to drop on July 11. Seiko has themed the album around a “resilient joker type character”, and it marks her 4th major original studio album on AVEX, following last year’s kitixxxgaia.The album is set to have 4 different versions, CD only, 2CD+DVD, CD+Blu Ray and Fanclub CD+SERIAL NUMBER
Each version has the original album (which features at least 10 new tracks), and the special versions of the album contain two exclusive bonus tracks unique to that particular edition.
It has been revealed that former Morning Musume member Rika Ishikawa has given birth to a healthy baby boy!
She shared a short statement on her official ameba blog. Both Ishikawa and the baby are doing fine, and are currently recuperating.

TOKIO member Tatsuya Yamaguchi is in quite a bit of trouble, he was being investigated for “forced indecency” with a 16 year old girl by the police.
The police report states that Yamaguchi invited the 16-year-old back to his home back in February. The two originally met through the NHK television show R no Hosuku, which Yamaguchi is a member of.
While the two were at his place, he continually offered and encouraged her to drink alcohol. After that he forced her to kiss him.
After dating for the past few years, Shota Matsuda and Kozue Akimoto have now announced their marriage! The news was revealed by Shota’s management company. The newlyweds sent a fax to the media informing them of their marriage.
