Back in 2016, SKY-HI and SALU joined forces for the album “Say Hello to My Minions.” On September 4, the duo will release the sequel, “Say Hello to My Minions 2.” The album features production by SOURCEKEY, APRO, SUNNY BOY, GroovyRoom, and Chaki Zulu.
“Say Hello to My Minions 2” comes in CD+DVD, CD+Blu-ray, and CD only editions. The video disc includes the music videos for the songs “Goodbye To The System” and “Rosa”, as well as the behind the scenes making of the album. Clips of all three videos can be found in the album teaser video below, along with more information on the album!
On September 4, Kato Miliyah will release her new single, “Honto no Boku wo Shitte.” The single is the second in celebration of her 15th anniversary, preceded by June’s
“Ai ga Furu.”
In addition to the new A-side, the single includes remixes of two of Miliyah’s earlier tracks, 2013’s “Lonely Hearts” and 2011’s “Yuushatachi.”

As of late, Ayumi Hamasaki has been extensively touring Japan. This past April, she played two shows at Saitama Super Arena in honor of her 21st anniversary, titled “ayumi hamasaki 21st anniversary -POWER of A^3-“. On September 4, the second of these two concerts will be released on DVD and Blu-ray. Each version will come in an extra edition which includes a specially-designed vanity pouch. Arashi retook the top spot on the Combined Album chart with their best album “5×20 All the BEST!! 1999-2019”, with 327,380 points in its ninth week, topping the chart for the third non-consecutive week.

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Streaming chart for the 14th consecutive week with their song “Pretender”, with 3,880,735 streams in its 17th week.
On September 4, Base Ball Bear will release a new digital EP, “Grape.” This release continues to explore the three piece band sound that Base Ball Bear found on their first EP, January’s “Polaris.” The theme of “Grape” is autumn, with the EP’s four songs reflecting this theme. Airi Suzuki has released a brand new MV in celebration of her debut single “ESCAPE“. The full MV for the main b-side of the single “IDENTITY“, has been uploaded to YouTube today.
“IDENTITY” is a pop-rock song about a potential love interest. The MV is partially animated, mixed with live-action scenes of Airi performing with a band. A version of the MV with no animation scenes will be available on Limited Edition B of “ESCAPE”. Check out the MV below:
ICON Ayumi Hamasaki will be releasing a special 20th anniversary edition of her second studio album “LOVEppears“. The anniversary edition of the album was completely remastered using the original recording tapes.
The album has so far been announced in two different versions, a limited edition 4CD + DVD and a standard 3CD. The deluxe version cover is a full body shot of the iconic topless photo originally used for the cover. It will be housed in a digipak package, and also come with a transparent sleeve.
On September 11, Yonezu Kenshi will release his new single, “Uma to Shika.” The song serves as the theme song for TBS drama “No Side Game.” Kenshi has now released the music video for the song. It was directed by Yamada Tomokazu, who has also directed the music videos for Kenshi’s songs “Lemon” and “Flamingo.” The clip features a cast of 120 people who display the impulse and passion need to survive in life.
