This week, Johnny’s WEST topped the Hot 100 single chart with their new single “Big Shot!!”, with 17,897 points.

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Hot Albums chart with their new album “Traveler.”

Official HIGE DANdism also topped the Streaming Songs chart for the 21st consecutive week with their single “Pretender.”

King Gnu topped the Download Songs chart with their new digital single “Kasa.”

BiSH topped the Download Albums chart with their album “FAKE METAL JACKET.”

LDH group BALLISTIK BOYZ is back with the release of their very first physical single “44RAIDERS“. The group had a very odd debut for Japanese standards, as their first single is only being released now despite having their major debut back in May 2019.

They debuted with a full self titled studio album, and then went on to release a collaborative mini-album with their label mates GENERATIONS, THE RAMPAGE, and FANTASTICS, under the collective name “Jr.EXILE”.

Great news for fans of SKE48‘s ace member Jurina Matsui, she will be officially returning to her entertainment activities very very soon! In a post on the groups official website, management confirmed that she will begin to appear at events again starting at the end of November.

SKE48 are guests at the upcoming Nagoya Motor Show which will take place on November 21st, 2019. She will also appear at handshake events on November 30th and December 1st in support of the groups 25th single “Frustration“

Johnny’s group Kis-My-Ft2 is prepping for the release of their 25th single titled “Edge of Days“. The song will serve as the official theme song for the TV Tokyo drama series “Million Joe” which stars Kis-My-Ft2 member Hiromitsu Kitayama.

The MV for “Edge of Days” has a spy concept, with each member doing a task related to espionage. This includes computer hacking, target practice with a gun, and unlocking a safe. Check out the short version of the MV below!

ARASHI just uploaded a concert snippet on their official Youtube channel. Fans can look forward for more as ARASHI takes part in Youtube’s Artist Promo. On October 18, the announcement video was uploaded with the message “So that we’ll be closer to you, the birth of ARASHI’s official Youtube channel “. In addition, advertisements for this campaign will be up on October 21 at Harajuku Laforet, Akasaka Mitsuke Station, Hibiya Line Roppongi Station and from November 1 at Shiodome Station underground walkway.

It seems like every week a new videos streaming service is announced, but fans of Studio Ghibli may be interested in getting a subscription for HBO Max.

Unsurprisingly over the years Studio Ghibli has held out on lending their catalog to various online streaming services, with their films difficult to even find digitally for purchase. HBO seems to have won them over, Studio Ghibli’s chairman Koji Hoshino commented on the historic partnership:
