NHK has made available on Youtube Arashi’s performance of “Kite”, a song composed and written by Yonezu Kenshi. Arashi performed the song at the center of the newly completed National Stadium for the 70th Kohaku Uta Gassen.
Earlier today, the the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen aired. The White Team won for the third consecutive year.The show featured performances by Arashi, Shiina Ringo, MISIA, Perfume, Yuzu, Seiko Matsuda, Keyakizaka46, Daichi Miura, Mariya Takeuchi, Yumi Matsutoya, and many more. Check it out below!

After years of speculation, Tokyo Jihen has announced that they are reuniting! The band broke up on February 29, 2012, a leap day. The next leap year, 2016, the members of the band reunited to play on frontwoman Shiina Ringo‘s single “Jiyudom.”
On January 1, Tokyo Jihen will release a new digital single, “Eraba Rezaru Kokumin.” The band has released a teaser video to accompany the release, which can be see below!
Tokyo Jihen is also embarking on a nationwide tour, “Live Tour 2020 News Flash”, as part of their revival. Ticket information will annonuced at noon on 1/8. Check out the dates below!

Earlier today, the 61st Japan Record Awards were held. Foorin took home the top prize of the night for their song “Paprika”, beating out Little Glee Monster, Daichi Miura, Keyakizaka46, AKB48, Junretsu, Nogizaka46, Hikawa Kiyoshi, Hinatazaka46, and DA PUMP.
BEYOOOOONDS took home the award for Best New Artist, defeating Kaizo Ryota, Niihama Leon, and Ryusei.
