After years of speculation, Tokyo Jihen has announced that they are reuniting! The band broke up on February 29, 2012, a leap day. The next leap year, 2016, the members of the band reunited to play on frontwoman Shiina Ringo‘s single “Jiyudom.”
On January 1, Tokyo Jihen will release a new digital single, “Eraba Rezaru Kokumin.” The band has released a teaser video to accompany the release, which can be see below!
Tokyo Jihen is also embarking on a nationwide tour, “Live Tour 2020 News Flash”, as part of their revival. Ticket information will annonuced at noon on 1/8. Check out the dates below!
