Japanese female group FAIRIES has officially disbanded as of June 17th, 2020. The sad announcement was made on their official website. After discussions, members Rikako Inoue, Sora Nomoto & Mahiro Mayashida have decided to end their contract with Rising Production, with Rikako retiring from show business.
Momoka Ito and Miki Shimomura will stay with Rising Production, and Miki plans to become a soloist.
This week, YOASOBI topped the Hot 100 single chart for the third consecutive week with their digital single “Yoru ni Kakeru”, with 13,815 points.
milet topped the Hot Albums chart with her debut album “eyes.”
YOASOBI also topped the Streaming Songs chart for the third consecutive week with “Yoru ni Kakeru.

A few days ago, it was announced that due to COVID-19, LDH was canceling the 168 concerts that were to be held this year as part of the company’s “LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020” project. The company does have an alternative for fans though!
On June 15, LDH soft launched a new video distribution service, CL. It is part of CyberLDH, a new company that was established last October by LDH and CyberAgent, Inc. Fans can use CL to see various content starring LDH talents, including concerts and behind the scenes footage.
CL will have its grand opening on August 1. Until then, the site is free. On August 1, CL will cost 1000 yen a month for unlimited viewing.
From July 2 – 8, a different LDH act will hold an online concert as part of the “LIVE x ONLINE” series. These concerts will be streamed on AMEBA, a company that is also part of CyberAgent, Inc.
Furthermore, LDH is taking a step to return to actual live events. The company is currently considering whether to hold a socially distanced live event at a dome in August.

Stray Kids also topped the Single chart with “TOP -Japanese ver.-”, selling 37,157 copies in its first week.

Model Kiko Mizuhara and content creator kemio will be covering the upcoming issue of popular fashion magazine ViVi. Due to the complications of coronavirus being rampant, shooting for the magazine took place with “ultimate social distance” rules, New York and Tokyo!
The editorial department of ViVi selected Mizuhara and kemio for the cover hoping that the cheerful duo would help brighten the spirits of their readers. Both Mizuhara and kemio agreed that it would be fun for the entire shoot to be “DIY”.
They both did self-styling, makeup, and shooting. ViVi’s editorial department requested that they show off their current favorite clothes, makeup, and most importantly favorite pose.
