It has been announced that EXILE and J SOUL BROTHERS member Takanori Iwata will be teaming up with Mackenyu Arata for a brand new film.

The film is called “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll“, and is based off of the award winning novel by Kaoru Yukinari. The film will be distributed by avex’s studio Avex Pictures.

Iwata plays the role of “Kida”, a self-described “negotiator” who makes his way into the seedy underworld. Arata plays “Makoto”, the president of a trading company who is trying to carry out his plan for revenge. Both Kida and Makoto are orphans.

As announced, Johnnys office will be forming a limited time unit “Twenty★Twenty” which consists of 75 people from 15 groups to release a charity song titled “smile”. The song will be distributed on June 22 and is scheduled for a CD release on on August 12. It will be available for a limited until December 31st.

This music release is part of the Johnny’s office “Smile Up! Project” being conducted to help prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections. The song is written by Mr.Children’s Sakurai Kazutoshi. Profits from the release will be donated for medical care support.

The CD release will also include “Wash Your Hands”, a song featured in the groups’ hand washing videos. The bonus DVD includes “smile” video clips, recording documentaries, and “smile” lyric videos.

Masuda Takahisa of NEWS is the cover boy for the new issue of anan, out June 24! On the cover and in the accompanying gravure spread, Takahisa’s chest and abs, which he maintained through home workouts during the COVID-19 stay at home order, can be seen.

The spread has the theme of a day in the life of a person who does home workouts. Parts of the shoot includes scenes where Takahisa takes off his tank top after waking up and drinking water in a hoodie.

On June 12, m-flo will release their second digital single since reviving their “Loves” series. The new song is titled “RUN AWAYS” and is a collaboration with chelmico.

This collaboration came about after the two groups met frequently will playing the same festivals and events last year. When m-flo decided to revive the “Loves” series, chelmico was on their minds. chelmico was honored to be approached for this project.

“RUN AWAYS” is described as a high speed drum & bass track. The music video for the song was released as part of m-flo’s “m-flo ‘mortal portal radio’ LIVE!!! ♡ chelmico ‘RUN AWAYS’ Release Special!!! Check it out below!
