Besides her countless hits, singer Hikaru Utada has become somewhat known for her quirky Instagram account. Utada doesn’t post very frequently compared to some of her peers, but a common reoccurring theme on her page is taking a photo of random objects she finds walking on the street or while out and about.

She has previously shared a lonely pizza, a little sticker of a guitar, and a banana peel. Utada’s latest fascination seems to be finding band-aids on the street. On September 22nd she made a post with a band-aid she found, simply using the band-aid emoji as the caption. Since then she has found 4 more band-aids which seems to have been a big highlight.

Tabloid Jisin is reporting that Johnny’s will allegedly begin to have all of their talents partake in random drug tests. It is said that these tests will be carried out in an extremely strict manner, and will take place with witnesses. These tests can range from hair, blood, or urine tests.

In Japan a public figure caught with drugs will receive extremely high fines and the potential to lose advertisements, or suspend the projects they’re currently working on. Many high profile entertainers such as Erika Sawajiri and Pierre Taki went through very public scandals regarding their drug use. Johnny’s currently has around 400 talents in total.

LDH group EXILE has released their 50th single “SUNSHINE“. A big milestone for the group, this single also marks a drastic change for them. This will be the very last release to feature their main vocalist ATSUSHI.

“SUNSHINE” is available in five versions, a standard CD only along with a CD+Blu-ray and DVD. A deluxe version with the full “EXILE PERFECT LIVE 2001 ▶︎ 2020″ concert at Kyocera Dome will set back fans 8,980 yen. B-sides include a track titled “Yakusoku ~promises~” and a 2020 version of their hit single “Rising Sun”.

Actor Ren Ozawa has been dropped by his agency after startling allegations from his ex girlfriend were reported by infamous tabloid Bunshun. The now 29 year old Ozawa began dating his ex girlfriend when he was 23, she was only 16 years old.

The relationship lasted for 5 years, and for the last few years of it she suffered horrific abuse. In 2019 the two began to live together which is when the abuse began to rapidly escalate.

For the remainder of the article Ozawa’s ex girlfriend will be referred to as “A“.

The 62nd Japan Record Awards will air on December 30. It was announced today that Arashi will appear on the show, after having been given a Special Honor Award. This marks the group’s first appearance on the Japan Record Awards.

Johnny & Associates is famously known to not participate in the show, dating back to an incident related to the 32nd Japan Record Awards in 1990. That year, there was a genre dispute, due to the group Ninja being awarded Best New Pop Artist for their song “Omatsuri Ninja”, instead of the desired Best New Enka Artist or Best New Kayokyoku Artist. Johnny & Associates also believes that participating in the show would create an unhealthy, competitive atmosphere within the company.
