Subversive rock band Shinsei Kamattechan have released a video for their song ‘Shinjuku eki‘ from their sixth album ‘Eiyu syndrome‘.

With varied filming locations shot on a swimming pool building rooftop in Tokyo, a shopping street late at night, wearing a suit in the waves on the Kujukuri coast, and at a love hotel, lead vocalist and guitar player Noko acts alongside actress Hikaru Ohsawa.

misono is making a return to the music scene with a brand new PV for her song Uchi Uchi Rock – Toriatsukai Setsumeisho –. The song will be featured on her upcoming album UCHI, due out October 13th. This will be misono’s first album release in over 4 years.

misono previously made headlines in December 2013 after she shared her intentions to retire from the entertainment industry and become a hostess. However, a month later she backtracked saying she would continue to be active in the industry.

For this release misono goes for an ultra cute concept, leading to questionable results. Check out the PV below!

Actress and singer, Erika Sawajiri (28) has been chosen to promote natural cosmetic brand ‘24h’’s new foundation. The CM will begin airing nationwide on September 19th.

In the CM, Sawajiri can be seen backstage in a green dress as a makeup artist gets her ready for a photoshoot. In the end, she has a perfect look which the CM dubs the “Sawajiri Face”. The background music plays light jazz and in the last scene Sawajiri is surrounded by white balloons, which are used to represent the brand’s “dot” symbols on their packaging .

The two new foundations are called “24h pure beautiful skin mineral foundation set” and “Premium pure beautiful skin mineral foundation set”. Both sets will go on sale September 19th.

The other day Momoiro Clover Z member Ayaka Sasaki “Aarin” (18) attended a special discussion recording for the Blu-ray of “Saint Seiya: LEGEND of SANCTUARY”.

Sasaki is the voice actress of the goddess Athena in the movie. However, she showed up to the recording wearing her “MOON PRIDE” outfit from the group’s tie-in with anime “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal”. When the fellow actors saw her they were surprised and asked, “What are you doing?” Sasaki just smiled and replied, “This outfit is for Sailor Moon, but it feels like it could be in Saint Seiya too.”

News has gotten out from a tabloid magazine that actor Yusuke Yamamoto (26) had a ‘one-night stand with a beautiful woman’. Yamamoto addressed the issue in his blog, “Due to my thoughtless actions, I have offended the people around me who have always supported me and I deeply regret this.”

In his blog entry titled ‘To my supportive fans’, Yamamoto continues to explain the situation. “This has not caused me to cut corners in regards to my job as an actor. I can definitely promise everyone that from the bottom of my heart. However, since this was my private life I took advantage of it and I realize how silly that was now. I regret that this is the kind of person I have been made out to be.”

He continues, “As an actor, all I can do now is look forward and I believe that my work will move people and make them smile. I will focus on my work from here on out.” He apologized again, “I am truly sorry for causing you all to worry.”

On September 19th, actor Ken Watanabe (54) and actress Maki Horikita (25) attended the ‘iPhone 6’ and ‘iPhone 6 Plus’ launch at the NTT DoCoMo shop in Tokyo.

The two are currently working as the CM image characters for the brand. Watanabe and Horikita participated in the shop’s countdown at 8am and greeted iPhone purchasers at the entrance once the store opened.

Watanabe, who has numerous activities abroad, can use the phone to check his scripts and pictures. The smartphone can be used just like a computer. Watanabe said he was interested in using the “Plus” version for its larger screen size. Horikita also commented, “I really want to get this phone soon, so I can enjoy using it with my family and friends.”

Rock band Ling Tosite Sigure will release their new single “Enigmatic Feeling” on November 5. This will be the band’s first release since last year’s album “i’mperfect.” The members of Ling Tosite Sigure have spent the time apart working on various solo projects. “Enigmatic Feeling” will serve as the opening theme song for the Fuji TV anime series “Psycho-Pass 2”, which starts on October 10.
