In the final night of their concert tour ‘NMB48 Tour 2014 in Summer, The centre of the world is Osaka ~Namba is autonomous!’ the senbatsu  members for the 10^th NMB48 single were announced. The single is due to be released on the 5^th of November, and the title is yet unknown.

However, the shocking news is that the proclaimed ‘Absolute Ace’ Sayaka Yamamoto is being replaced as centre, and instead Miru Shiroma and Fuuko Yagura will be the new ‘W centre’, forming a fresh new NMB48.

It has been announced that soloist Kavka Shishido will transfer music labels from Imperial Records of Teichiku Records (under JVC Kenwood Holdings, parent of Victor Entertainment) to a new label under Avex Group called JUSTA MUSIC.

In 2005, while in a band called Eddy12 where she honed her signature style, she was scouted as a solo musician. By 2012, she debuted with a digital single with Imperial Records called “Day Dream Rider” and has since released six more singles, starred in nationwide commercial for Glico and put out her debut album. Most recently she joined the second season cast of the Erika Sawajiri drama ‘First Class’, as fashion designer named Namie Kawashima, and has shown she is ready to take her career to the next level.

With this change in music labels, Kavka is opened up to a wider array of potential collaborators. She has expressed interest in challenging herself by teaming up with acts like Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and Trio Ohashi for her upcoming endeavors. She commented, “In order to challenge my growth [as an artist] even more, I have been given the privilege to freely stimulate exciting work with a new group of creative people and staff.”

Kavka Shishido will release new music in spring 2015.

In celebration of her 10th anniversary, singer-songwriter Kato Miliyah is releasing a collaboration/remix album. The album is titled “MUSE” and is set for release on October 29. The album will come in 2 editions: a regular 2 CD only edition and a limited 2 CD + DVD edition. The first disc of the album is the collaboration disc. It will feature collaborations with Izumi Nakasone of HY, JASMINE, AI, Thelma Aoyama, Mika Nakashima, and SUGAR SOUL. There will also be covers of Utada Hikaru’s “Automatic” (the song Miliyah sang when she auditioned for Sony) and Alicia Key’s “If I Ain’t Got You.” Another of the songs, “STYLE”, will feature a sample of the 90s TLC hit “Creep.” The remix disc will feature remixes of various songs from Miliyah’s decade in the industry.

There are quite a few bits of information to report on Nishino Kana right now. The first thing is the release of the short music video for her new single “Suki.” The next thing would be the release of the covers, tracklist, and promo picture for that single. The promo picture is being used as the header picture for this article. On October 1, Daichi Miura will be releasing his new digital single “Bring It Down.” Today, he released the short music video for the song. “Bring It Down” serves as the theme song for the online drama Hang. The detective drama is based on the Honda Tetsuya novels of the same name. Daichi loved the novels and wrote “Bring It Down” after reading the drama’s script. Check out the video after the jump!
