VICE’s music site Noisey posted THIS article a few days ago about the Moshi Moshi Nippon festival that took place September 28th at the Tokyo Taikukan. In it they detail what they saw at the festival and they talked to a few foreigners about how they felt about the whole thing.

To give a little bit of background: Moshi Moshi Nippon is a project organized by Asobi System, who represents artists such as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Capsule, and Tempura Kidz among others, to spread Japanese culture to non-Japanese people.

On October 12th, Chiharu Muto left a message to her fans that she would be leaving the groups FLOWER and E-Girls. The letter reads:

Male DJ and producer SPICY CHOCOLATE will be releasing an album titled “Shibuya Shunai Monogatari” on October 22. Prior to that, the lead single “I Miss You” featuring Shota Shimizu was released as a digital single last October 8 and has been topping the Itunes chart since. The full music video for the song has also been released. Model and actress Fujiko Kojima is featured in both the music video and the album covers.

As previously reported, Ikimonogakari will be performing the opening theme song for the new anime adaptation of “The Seven Deadly Sins” (Nanatsu no Taizai). The anime already premiered last October 5.  The song, titled ‘Netsujou no Spectrum’, is written and composed by Mizuno Yoshiki and arranged by Kondo Takashi and Tanaka Yusuke. Together with ‘Namida ga Kieru Nara’, the song will be released as a double A-side single on October 15.

Sanspo reports that photo magazine “FRIDAY” has revealed that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (21) and J&A boyband NEWS member Yuya Tegoshi (26) have been on a “dating tryst”.

The two people emerged from Tegoshi’s Tokyo apartment mid-September and were pictured by the magazine boarding the same taxi. They then entered a Yakiniku shop together with an acquaintance and were pictured with several colleagues after eating.

However, it was recently revealed that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is dating SEKAI NO OWARI vocalist Satoshi Fukase (28) and now we’re getting reports that she is two-timing him by meeting with another man, Tegoshi.

In response, Tegoshi’s agency denied all the claims to Sankei Sports saying, “The truth is that they’re just friends spending time together.”

As previously announced, Ayame Gouriki will be releasing her third single “Kuyashii kedo Daiji na Hito” on October 29. Included in the single is a cover of “Wasurete mo Sukina Hito”, Purple Shadows’ hit song from 1969. For the cover, she collaborated with Tatsuya Ishii of vocal group ‘Tatsuya Ishii to Tokyo Del Amigo’. Since the titile track speaks about a love that is to begin, they had decided to sing about a love that has ended in the coupling song.

This is Gouriki’s first cover and first duet. The PV also features some behind the scenes of the recording.
