YuiKaori to start the new year with an electro tune

YuiKaori will be starting of the year with the release of their new single “NEO SIGNALIFE” on January 7, 2015.

To commemorate their 10th single and their image for great dancing, “NEO SIGNALIFE” is going to be an electro dance tune. The first press limited edition version will come with a DVD which will have a special video clip and a behind-the-scenes making video.

Also, starting in November YuiKaori will be going on a three city tour called “HEARTY PARTY!!”. Tickets will be available for sale on October 13th and 18:00 through the special site “Live Supporters Team YUIKAORI”.

Yukari Tamura to release her next single on Christmas Eve

Yukari Tamura has announced that she will be releasing her newest single on December 24th.

It has been nearly 10 months since she released her previous single “Himitsu no Tobira kara Ai ni Kite” this past February. Her newest single will have two first press limited edition versions which will include a CD and DVD. There will also be two versions of the regular edition, which will include only a CD.

Tamura also revealed that she will be holding a special event on February 14-15, 2015 at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. Fans that purchase a first press copy of the single will get a special serial number to be used for a lottery to win a ticket to the event. Details on the event and Tamura’s single will be available on her official site at a later date.

Suiyoubi no Campanella announces new mini album

On November 5, AramaJapan featured artist Suiyoubi no Campanella is set to release their 4th mini album. It is titled “Watashi o Onigashima ni Tsuretette.” It will be available at Tower Records and the Village Vanguard location in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. “Watashi o Onigashima ni Tsuretette” will include the 2 songs on their demo from last month, “Momotaro” and “Sen no Rikyu.” Check out the cover and tracklist after the jump!

Famous news cat “Maago” passes away

TV Tokyo announced on October 11th that their famous news cat ‘Maago’ had passed away. Maago was an American Shorthair who was known to walk about the set on TV Tokyo’s “Tase Yasuhiro no Shuukan Shinsho”. They reported that Maago suddenly died on October 10th at 9pm from acute heart failure. He was 8 years old.

The same program was known to invite politicians as guests and they would discuss current events. Maago started appearing on the program in April 2008 and he was a popular character who would freely roam around the studio’s set.

JUJU filled with emotion at her 10th anniversary concert

On October 12th, JUJU held a concert at Saitama Super Arena in honor of her 10th anniversary as a singer.

JUJU sang 10 of her own songs including “Yasashisa de Abureru You ni”, “Kiseki wo Nozomu nara…”, and “Ashita ga Kuru Nara” and 10 cover songs including “Manatsu no Kajitsu” from Southern All-Stars and “Eki” from Mariya Takeuchi.

A 28 year old female also got the chance to come on stage and sing a duet with JUJU after winning a Janken Tournament with the other 25,000 fans in the audience.

JUJU was filled with emotion, “My heart was broken in the middle of these 10 years, but that also taught me how important it is to have dreams. When I debuted I never thought that I would still be doing this 10 years later, I wasn’t even sure I would make it past one year. I am filled with gratitude toward all of you.
