On the 15th, it was reported that popular group Kis-My-Ft2 will all be appearing in the issue of “anan” to be sold on the 19th, taking on the challenge of a semi-nude photoshoot.
Popular san-x character Rilakkuma received a “real-life” transformation thanks to a collaboration with the leading brand “Steiff”. The “Steiff Rilakkuma” was released this week.
Steiff was founded in Germany and is known worldwide for creating the very first teddy bear in the late 1800s, they continue to set the bar in the stuffed animal world with their high regard for quality. Each Steiff Rilakkuma was hand-crafted, the major material used to craft the bears came from the rare angora goat. “Mohair” is produced solely from the angora goat, and it’s known for being extremely lustrous putting it in the same category as other luxurious fibers such as cashmere and silk.
Quantities for this are quite limited, only 1500 were produced. Each Steiff Rilakkuma will be numbered by it’s ear tag. They can be purchased at the official san-x store, Joy Palette, and select retailers under the “LAWSON Loppi” branch. The cost for this luxurious bear will set you back 37,800 yen. Being kawaii ain’t cheap.

NTV have confirmed that their yearly music special Best Artist is going to be broadcast on November 26th and will air from 7:00pm to 9:54pm that night, providing nearly three full hours of entertainment. This year’s show will be hosted by Arashi’s Sakurai Sho and announcers Hatori Shinichi and Tokushima Erika, with fellow announcer Masu Taichi serving as the program’s Navigator.
There are 31 artists who have been confirmed to perform on Best Artist’s stage this year, ranging from legends like Mr.Children and Yuzu to younger acts like SEKAI NO OWARI and E-girls. It has also been confirmed that those acts involved with Johnny’s Entertainment will be performing a special medley on the show, plus an additional medley to be performed by Arashi with songs selected by the audience from around the country.

Actress Satomi Ishihara and EXILE’s Takanori Iwata were spotted hanging out together late at night.
Satomi was seen entering a taxi from her condominium past midnight. Her destination was a Japanese restaurant styled like a hideaway in Roppongi. The restaurant has no sign and is styled like an old home, it has a reputation for being a place often used by famous people to meet when they wanna be discrete.
In a private room at this restaurant, she nervously waited for Takanori whom she is currently appears with on the Fuji TV series “Dear Sister.”
As we reported previously, Fuji TV will be airing this year’s FNS Kayousai music special on December 3rd from 7:00pm to 11:30pm JST that night. The TV station also revealed the first list of artists that will be participating in the show; now, they’ve published the second set of acts that will grace the special’s stage.
Notable among these performers are Ikimonogakari, Hata Motohiro, Ieiri Leo, GENERATIONS, and Miyamoto Emiri, though there are many many more. There have been a total of 66 acts announced thus far, with at least one more group on the way, so please look forward to continued updates on this in the future.

Your chance has arrived! Morning Musume ’14 will be collaborating with Fuji TV in a year end special titled “The Big Chance”. The special is an audition program scouting out people who hope to debut professionally in the entertainment business as a musician, video director, or lyricist.
Gender, age , and nationality doesn’t matter, but the contest is limited to people living within Japan only. Both professional and amateur directors are allowed to apply. The application asks for your favorite Morning Musume ’14 member, “Self PR”, an example of your work, and a short paragraph on your idea for the PV.
The lucky few who pass will be contacted by staff and be invited for the live airing of the show where the winner will be revealed. The winner will get to direct one of the videos on the girls’ next single. The application form can be found here.
“The Big Chance” will air on December 29th.
More details have been revealed on Marvel’s collaboration with Attack on Titan!
A preview of the upcoming issue of “Brutus” magazine shows us the first panel from the collaboration. The special will be called “Attack on Avengers” and will feature various characters from “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “The Avengers” batting it out with Colossal Titan, Female Titan, Armored Titan, and others in New York City. The crossover will be in English, a Japaneses translation guide will be included with the issue. The plot was created by Hajime Isayama, the creator of Attack on Titan.
