Their first live tour “Fairies LIVE TOUR – Summer Party -” DVD/Bluray will be available for purchase at December 10. The DVD/Bluray will focus on Tokyo concerts with some parts of the live from Nagoya and Osaka.
It will also includes backstage documentary as a bonus which will reveal more of the girls personalities to the fans. More detail about the tour and DVD/Bluray after the jump.
After releasing their first album ‘Fight Back’ last month, Da-iCE is back with a new single “Mou Ichido Dake” (Again Only) to be released on January 7, 2015. This is the group’s fourth single released under Universal Music Japan.
“Mou Ichido Dake” is described as a painful song, filled with heartbreak and emotions behind it. The full music video for the song has been released. Check out the PV as Da-iCe dances through this heartbreak-filled song.
The 4th artist line up for Fuji TV’s music festival ‘2014 FNS Kayousai’ has been announced. All debuted groups under Johnny & Associates from SMAP to Johnnys West are participating in a 25 minute special medley for Masahiko Kondo’s 35th debut anniversary “Match SP”. In total, there will be 71 Johnny’s talents participating. 14 groups all together, singing 24 songs between them. The highlights would be the celebration planned for Matchy’s 35th Anniversary solo debut which falls on December 11. For this occasion, a special medley which includes his debut song “Sneaker Blues” and 7 of his greatest hit songs will be performed, as well as the groups’ respective hit songs.
The Johnnys will probably be in a different venue than the regular venue for the program since audience will be present.
Today it was revealed that girl group, E-girls will be releasing their third album, “E.G. Time” on January 1st. The album will include singles Odoru Ponpokorin (Chibi Maruko-chan OP), Highschool ♡ love (GTO theme song), and Mr. Snowman (CM tie-up song). It will also include special versions of E-Girls’ most popular songs Gomennasai no Kissing You and Follow Me. Thus bringing the album to a total of 15 songs.
The album will come in five versions, CD + 3Blu-rays (Type 1), CD + 3DVDs (Type 2), CD + Blu-ray (Type 3), CD + DVD (Type 4), CD (Type 5). Of Type 1 and Type 2, the discs will contain their video clips + documentary, and part one and two of their COLORFUL LAND Tour. Also the first press edition will include a special remix CD of E-Girls’ RYDEEN.

A SEKAI NO OWARI Monogatari (SEKAI NO OWARI Story) manga, based on the four-member band will be published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Their 2 chapter manga will be released in 2015’s combined second/third issue on December 10 and in the combined fourth/fifth issue on December 24. Atsunori Horiuchi (Baby World End) illustrates the manga,
The combined second/third issue will include photos and an interview of the band, and the magazine will offer exclusive goods via a mail-in offer.
Hip hop artist DJ DECKSTREAM is set to release his new album “DRESS CODE” on December 10. The album will have 12 tracks and feature an array of talent from the Japanese hip hop scene including VERBAL, Shing02, SEAMO, JAZEE MINOR, and Mummy-D. In support of the album, DJ DECKSTREAM has released the music video for the album’s opening track, “Young World.” “Young World” features both VERBAL and Shing02. On December 10, CHEMISTRY member Kaname Kawabata will release his first cover album. It is titled “ON THE WAY HOME.” He will be covering the hits of various acts including Utada Hikaru, Mika Nakashima, JUJU, and Kou Shibasaki. Girl group Little Glee Monster will be joining him on one of the songs. Ahead of the album’s release, Kaname was released a video of him in a public bath singing bits of some of the songs on the album. Hello ARAMA! JAPAN readers! This week I’ll be presenting the latest instalment of our featured artist series. Unlike the previous artists, this will be our first J-urban artist to be featured. He’s also one of the older acts we have featured. Zeebra happens to be one of the more prominent Japanese rappers out there. Furthermore, he is one of my favourite Japanese artists.
Who is Zeebra?
Zeebra (real name: Yokoi Hideyuki) is a Japanese rapper born in Tokyo on April 2nd, 1971. He also goes by DJ DIRTYKRATES when performing as a DJ. Zeebra came on the scene with hip-hop group, King Giddra back in 1993. The group, consisting of Zeebra, K DUB SHINE and DJ OASIS, made great contributions to the expansions of the Japanese hip-hop scene. Back in 1997, Zeebra went solo and quickly captured the hearts of listeners regardless of gender. He has also gained the respect of his fellow artists in the scene. As of today, the Tokyo rapper has a total of 17 singles, 5 digital singles, 8 albums, 4 best ofs, 2 remix EPs and 1 official mix cd. He has also has collaborated with over 50 artists from big pop acts like Namie Amuro and EXILE, to Korean rapper Drunken Tiger.
