Masahiko Kondo x Kanjani8 – Orokamono / Gin Gira Gin ni Sarigenaku

Last month, Harajuku male model Kondo Yohdi released his debut single, “30th CENTURY BOY.” During a release event for that single, he revealed that he had been picked up by major label Avex. It was announced that he would be making his major label debut on August 12 with the single “Gurugurun Sekai.” On July 12, he debuted the song during a performance at “modelpress presents Entertainment Girl Live 2015.” During his performance, he wore a costume by Shinohara Tomoe. She designed outfits featuring his selfies that he would be able to dance in. Those costumes now feature on the covers for his new single.

The single will come in 2 editions: a CD only Regular Edition that comes with a trading card which allows purchasers to access video content, and a CD+Photobook Limited Edition that is only available at WonderGOO and Shinseido stores. The Regular Edition of the single has 3 covers.

Today, Yohdi released the music video for “Gurugurun Sekai.” In the clip for the upbeat song, Yohdi can be seen dancing and acting cute while trying to catch the attention of a young lady he’s interested in. Check it out after the jump along with the single’s covers and tracklist!

On August 12, BENI will release her new single, “Forever.” This her first release since the October 2014 digital single “Fun Fun Christmas.” The B-sides for this single were previously heard in a video for a new pachinko game, “CR Cat’s Eye”, in which they are featured in. “CAT’S EYE” is a cover of Anri’s 1983 classic.

Today, BENI released the short pv for “Forever.” The Motown-tinged song has the theme of “bonds”, not just between lovers, but also between friends and family. To illustrate this, the music video features BENI on a tropical vacation with her real life friend Watanabe Naomi. An hour ago, Avex uploaded the music video for EXILE ATSUSHI’s UPSIDE DOWN on Youtube. The song serves as the b-side to EXILE‘s August release of 24karats GOLD SOUL. Earlier this year, three members of EXILE, USA, Matsumoto Toshio and MAKIDAI, announced their resignation from the group. As such, the music video features the three original members of EXILE along with the group’s vocalist, ATSUSHI.

The music video features the members in retro-styled clothes to match the 80s – 90s funk style of the song. It is being called a ‘respect song’, as ATSUSHI is seen at a diner, writting a letter for each of the members. The members read the letters he has wrote for them, as well as prepare for a party. The video ends with all four of the men coming together for a backyard party, filled with drinks and photo-albums with pictures of the good ol’ days. While the topic is a sad one for fans, the song and video is sure to leave you with feel good vibes by the end of it.

New dance and vocal group lol from avex trax will be debuting with their first single fire!, to be released on August 12. The single will be released in three versions, a CD+DVD edition, a CD Only edition, and a mu-mo shop limited one coin CD edition.

The group previously released “HEARTBEAT” as a digital single on October 8, 2014. The track was used as the theme song of “Tribe Cool Crew”, Nagoya TV’s new animation about dance.
