On September 16, tofubeats will release his second major label album, “POSITIVE.” This album comes nearly a year after his major label debut album, “First Album.” Like “First Album”, “POSITIVE” will feature an array of guests. Those featured guests are Dream Ami, okadada, KREVA, Tetsuya Komuro, Skylar Spence (formerly known as Saint Pepsi), Tamashiro Tina, Shigeru Kishida of Quruli, and Nakano Yoshie of EGO-WRAPPIN’. tofubeats describes this album as his most positive effort so far.
tofubeats recently released a demo version of the album’s title track on YouTube, but he didn’t reveal at the time who was going to be featured on the final version of the song. It was recently revealed that the vocalist on the song would be Dream / E-girls member Ami. The song was premiered today on the FM802 / InterFM radio show “Noz Beautiful Harmony”, which Ami co-hosts. tofubeats was recently a guest on the show. The song will be available for digital download via services such as Recochoku and iTunes tomorrow.
Today, tofubeats also released the music video for “POSITIVE.” The clip for the peppy song features various feet in action. Check it out after the jump, along with more information about the album!

Dance! Sing! Sweat! Kanjani8’s Maemuki Scream! new single containing the debut track from ‘those girls’ was released last August 5. The title track “Maemuki Scream! (Positive Scream!) is currently on air as the commercial background song for Oronamin C. With the TV commercial’s familiar phrase, “Maemuki! Maemuki!”, this distinctive song is a Kanjani8-style summer dance anthem that will get listeners fired up and in the mood for dancing!
The single also contains CANDY MY LOVE by Canjani8 which is the debut single from Canjani8, the idol unit featured on the TV commercial for Candy Crush Soda. This moving song about the heartache of a young girl falling in love with love itself is a medium ballad that will remind you of idols from days gone by! The last video is the recording footage of Kanjani8’s band version of Zukkoke Otokomichi, which gives a view of the members recording with their instruments inside the studio. The original version of Zukkoke Otokomichi was released as a single in 2007.

Arashi’s 47th single Ai o Sakebe (Crying Out Love), currently airing as commercial background song for Recruit Zexy, is set to a party rock’n roll tune. The members pour their hearts into the lyrics about the awkward and slightly wistful feelings of a man at a wedding ceremony towards the bride, who he used to yearn for, while still wishing the newlyweds a bright future. As “a love song from us,” it’s bound to become a new wedding song standard offering a message to a women from a man’s point of view.
The paired song Yume ni Kakeru, currently airing as JAL 2015 promotion song, also has a grandiose feel to it and is a song that inspires hopes and dreams in the people who listen to it. The first-run limited edition DVD includes the music video and its making of, in addition to a Ai o Sakebitaku Naru! choreography video, and the press conference for the unveiling of the JAL 2015 aircraft featuring a special hull design created by member Ohno Satoshi.
